Something using a deer and stag base would be super cool. Just saying, something really NATUREY with flowers, like a lord and lady spring I think would be really cool.

Could the $$ grovekins customs from two years ago (to pay for a new tablet?) be on top of the list? I am at least pushing for bunraku and Shifty's customs.
Other breed I would love to see is a cat hybrid :p

This here. This has always been on my mind, and if I'm being honest, these were a stress factor that kept me from returning. Life has been difficult and that's no excuse to not get these done. I will get them done but they are dripping with anxiety and regrets that make them no fun, so no... they wont be at the top of the list. They've been sitting around for over 2 years, I think a few more months of me taking my time to do them should be okay.
I would also like to point out that I haven't drawn humans in just as long, or have I done such detailed customs. If I jump right into them and try to force them out just to be done with them, it's going to look like crap.
I hope my honesty doesn't hurt any feelings, but I've never been one to beat around the bush. They will get done. Just in a reasonable fashion that keeps my sanity.
I know other artists in similar situations offered refunds or exchanging for the new adopt to relieve stress. And of course like you are saying also give them the option of getting the original art IF you feel it's possible for you. If you don't think it's possible anymore give them options. If a full refund is a possibility then no one lost out on anything. Of course it can be sad not to get the art you were hoping for, but it's a lot better than not getting anything (money or art) and no matter what it shouldn't cost you your health <3
On a side note, I would always try contacting the artist privately first. If they don't response I can understand asking publicly better, but this seems like it will just add stress and that doesn't help with getting stuff done |D

Crystal, as YLO said, I know one of them won't mind a refund for the grovekin art and would prefer it, I can't speak for the other since I am not in constant contact with her.
