Hello hello!
Sorry I've been so quiet lately. A lot has happened! Back in October I quit my job of seven years, because they were sold to a new company that was... very bad, to say the least... without going into details. :\
But this week I started a brand new job as an administrative assistant at a law firm! :D It's very exciting! Although I do miss the few months I had off, free to be my own person, and to work on my writing. :3 But now it's back to the 9-5 M-F life for me. :P
At the same time I was applying for jobs, I also finished one of my children's books and sent it out to some publishers! I've been working up the courage to do this for years. It's hard for an introvert to put herself out there, ya know? >.> It'll be a couple months before I get any response, but I'll be sure to keep you all updated on this life's dream of mine. :D
Now that things have calmed down a little, I plan to get back to working on adoptables again. :3

You got a paralegal degree, spring!? :O Holy cow that is amazing! Congrats!! I work at an injury attorneys, mostly only car accidents but sometimes slip/falls depending on the situation. This is my third week so I'm slowly learning the ropes. Mostly I open the mail and answer phones. XD
Update: 2 of the 4 publishing houses I submitted to sent me rejection letters, so far. ^_^;; It's not all bad, though! The second one actually gave a very personalized rejection with some great advice on how to improve my manuscript. It was really nice! I'm not going to give up, I'm going to revise my story and send it out to others soon. :3
Aww too bad! But I'm glad you're not giving up :D
