Wind Surfers

Wind Surfers are SGA's newest discovered species.  They arrived through numerous portals, appearing all over SGA's mountain during that horrible blizzard.  We're still learning about these creatures, but so far this is what we know (or think we know!)

• They range in sizes, from tiny mouse/hamster size, up to small house cat size.
• They have paws that seem more like little hands.  Much like a raccoon, they can grip things.
• They are mischievous little things, with a penchant for collecting (stealing) and hoarding things that grab their attention.
• They are quite friendly, and seem happy enough to associate with humans.
• So far, we know they like both seeds and meat.
• They seem to have very distinct and individual personalities.

This guy is lazy.  His favorite thing of all to do is.. sleep!  But there is just so much commotion around here, he can't find anyplace to nap.  Oh what he wouldn't give for a nice warm place to curl up and close his eyes.  Perhaps you can help him out? 

Post a description of someplace you'd let him sleep.  The person who describes his ideal napping spot, will be allowed to take him home.  Not that you'll ever see him, as he'll likely always be hiding in that spot sleeping!

Lost Love

Oh the horror!  There they were, minding their own business, searching out a nice place to make a nest when suddenly the world went nuts!  The wind that usually gently lifts them as they surf the currents, now a fierce gale and blowing them off course.  And those lights!  Everything was so disorientating, and the winds were too strong to battle.  In the end he found himself in this new strange place all alone, his mate no where to be seen!  Oh what must she be going through, out there all alone?!  He must find her!

It seems the storms we had here on our mountain, were also had in the alternate realm where the Surfers live.  Perhaps even originating there..  regardless, this poor fellow has lost his mate once he was dumped here.  Can you help reunite this Love Pair?

The first person to PM this account with the completed maze, will get to give the Lovers a new home.

Feed Me!

These hungry little Surfers have invaded the mess hall.  They are getting into everything and Cook is at her wits end!  Please, can you do something about this?!

Your task, is to try and lure the little thieves away form the kitchen.  You may roll once per Secundi hour to try and lure a Wind Surfer.  So you can roll at 09:59 and then again at 10:00, then again at 11:00 etc.  You can try for more then one, but only one each hour.

To play, post this form (remove the * from your die roll and image code, and fill in the blank with something they can eat!)..

If you roll a number matching a Surfer's roll, then you have successfully lured that one out of the kitchen.  It then becomes yours, and whatever you used in the winning roll will become it's favorite food/treat.  This information will be recorded along with your Surfers name, ID etc in the notary office.

Note: You can continue to use the same food/treat to try and tempt with each roll if you want (like if you want a surfer with a specific fav food), you don;t have to change it every time.  but you of course can change it if you like as well

SkySong - LOL!  I agree, they just might catch a Silvanon too.

Dawn - I don't know if this was what you were doing, but I discovered recently that if you preview a post with a diceroll in it, it changes the "roll" code to a "blockquote" code and you have to change it back before actually posting, or else it claims your first un-edited post was tampered with.

It's one of the things I highly dislike about the online dice, because I preview my posts almost always, usually without even thinking about it :S

The tampered with warning is there for good reason, but I don;t think it needs to proq just form a preview.  I mean, even if we preview a million times, when we finally post it's going to re-roll the dice for a new number anyway lol
