Mine is quite old and doesnt work well so I'm planning to buy one later today from walmart... Which one would you recommend most?

I've only had two... Which both worked great for me. Bamboo Fun and a Wacom Intuos. I think they're probably a little pricey compared to others, but both were quite reliable.

I had the Bamboo Fun a long, long time ago, but I'm now using the Bamboo Create. It's the cheapest one there when I went to Best Buy and it works fine. It doesn't have all those fancy features or anything, but I've never needed anything besides the most basic pen pressure. Beware with it though! If you drop it or treat it too roughly it's done for. I dropped it on the first day I got it and it was absolutely destroyed haha. Had to go in and get a new one.

Thank you everyone.

Note to self never go to walmart in search of anything . They had nothing and didnt even try to help me find it they just said the only tables we have are those ones and pointed to an isle full of nooks and ipads.

That's because you asked for tablet, which is a common term for anything that's thin and can be written upon. XD I once asked for a drawing tablet and got a pad of paper. So a worker at walmart knows only about the tablets in stock, which are currently the thin smart devices. Those poor workers have no idea what a tablet pen is. Walmart rarely has stuff like that, anyway. If you can't find it at an electronics store, I'd just order online.

I always go with wacom and am rarely disappointed.
The one you get depends upon price you can afford and software you're looking to get with it. I say the software is worth the extra month with it, because it really can help with how you're drawing.

I've recently gotten an intuos small pen and touch. It's got a nice small tablet with a pen (with eraser! I missed having an eraser when I had my old bamboo) and it came with manga studio debut, which I've found is incredibly handy for inking. If you just want the pen and not the software perhaps look on amazon or ebay for a used or refurbished one. I believe my bamboo pen came off ebay.

If you are on the wacom website, go ahead and search through them all and see what you like. Some are for different purposes. An artist might want a different one than someone looking to just have a cool toy.

I got mine on amazon. I love it and it's perfect for me. :) plenty of pen pressure and drawing space. I have the Wacom bamboo fun. (Or create. Don't remember at the moment xD) it was about $70 when I got it, but the price may have gone down. It's perfect for a beginner or an expert in my opinion.
