So!! Where to start?!
I had a mini midlife crisis and quit the program I've been trying to get into at college for 3 years. I decided it wasn't for me anymore and now I have one year left of college before I graduate with my associates in Business Management. I hope I can make something out of that someday. I will be volunteering at an animal cat shelter once I'm established with business enough to handle it and may do some book editing on the side of I can get my foot in the door.
I just got hired yesterday at SAMs club so I am transferring out of walmart and will be starting at SAMs the day after walmart lets me go. Which also means I get to have my thanksgiving with my family instead of being forced to work at walmart that day :D
And now for the big one-
My boyfriend and I have been together for over four and a half years now. You all know most of my days are spent at work or with him and now things are going to be changing big time. We are going to your an apartment on Monday and probably signing the paperwork for applying for said apartment the same day. We are both picking up hours at work and both just got raises so that helps. We'll be moved in before Christmas if all goes well but will also be very poor with nothing but a twin bed, two TVs and a desk for my laptop. So this month and next month will pratily consist of us freaking out trying to gather things for the apartment and spending as little money as possible. Once the move process starts there's no telling how long it'll take to get internet and such set up (not that thibgs have been active enough on here for that to matter). We should be getting free wifi there though so if that reaches out apartment well be fine. If not, well ahve to go through and set up the Internet which could take a few weeks after moving in.

So life is a mess right now but I'm excited. This is something we've been hoping for for a long time and we're finally biting the bullet and doing it. :) Any advice is welcome, if you have any to give. Now I just have to wait til monday to find out of we can start hoarding free/cheap household items for out apartment!

Yay! Moving in together is so thrilling and fine. My advice? Bring up stuff that bothers you early and calmly. Does he leave his dirty dishes in the living room and you hate that? Tell him the first time and compromise. Do you leave hair on the sink when you get ready in the morning? Make sure he knows it is okay for him to bring it up and make an effort to remedy it. Living together is a whole new ball game. I can't imagine being with my fiance Michael but getting those little things out of the way early helped a lot and made living together more fun.

Also, make sure everything is equal. Michael and I pay 50/50 for all bills and groceries right away, then no one owes the either money. Additionally, stuff like laundry and dishes should be done together. In our house, Michael does the laundry and dishes, but I have to do all the folding/sorting/drying/putting away (I think he has the hard job and he thinks I do. It works!). Make sure stuff like cleaning the house is also done together. Michael and I had issues with that in the beginning. I used to clean the snot out of our house and he didn't help. Now we both clean the house on the same day, or I clean the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, and he does the bathroom. Marine Corps precision. No one cleans a bathroom like a Marine lol.

And finally, enjoy it!! Living together is fantastic and a big step but so much fun. Don't worry about furniture and all that. It will come. It took Michael and I awhile to build up our furniture collection and now we have the necessities plus some fun stuff. We also use Christmas to buy a new furniture item instead of presents for each other. Last year it was an electric fireplace, two years ago it was a fancy shower head lol. Furniture will build up. It may not be nice, but something is better than nothing. :)

*update*
Things are going great at my new job! Loving it here and everyone is so welcoming and nice. The only complaint I have is I like to work fast and jump up ladders quickly and they are still treating me like a baby lol. I learn faster than they think.
We're moving in on or before the 30th of this month!!! So excited and we basically have everything well need. I'm so excited <3 my kitties are wondering what's going on with all the boxes but as far as they know its just new jungle gym pieces for them. :p
I'm hoping to get back into Secundi within the next few months. I can't give a certain time because with moving in, things take time to get used to and not sure when the Internet will be up and blah blah blah.
So that's it for now! Talk to you all soon

We've been moved in for a week, got internet on Wednesday and today we spent the day getting government stuff sorted and getting food stamps, first big grocery trip, etc. The cats are settling in nicely, symon is taking it much easier than I thought. I've got 20 hours of service to do at a non-profit location to do while working each week, but as soon as all thats done and I get in the groove I should be back full time and start coloring and finishing a project I started. We'll see. For now, enjoying some blueberry coffee and figuring out life without mom and with the boyfriend. Crazyyy!! Miss you guys <3
