Garney

A brave few FaeKind had recently decided to break off from the main Fields Herd and attempt the dangerous trek to the Willow Glade.

Along the journey, their foals were lost in a sudden snowstorm.

~*~*~*~

To "find" your foal, simply write a concise paragraph or two (or more) of the parents searching for their foal.

If you do not own both parents, you may include a few posts back and forth interaction, have a little fun with it, but you are not required to interact with any other posts.

This isn't a full RP event, just a short little blurb about the parents and the foal will suffice. If you want certain details, be sure to write about them.

Faes and Faettes are both welcome.

Each owner can be involved in finding up to two foals, shared or not. You can sort who 'gets' the foal when they're found.

Location: Your FaeKind can be anywhere along the trek from Field through Marsh to the Willow Glade. Faettes are more than likely along the rocky foothills of the mountains as they tend to prefer the stony ground.

Rescued Foals

I hope this is how you want this; wanted to get one in before bed >.>

Dallen trotted through the snow, head turning rapidly as he scanned the drifts for any signs.  Occasionally, he called out, but the only reply he ever heard was Schmetterling, also calling out.  His mate was flying overhead, looking for any sign of the missing foal, while he searched the ground, looking for any caves or hollows the little one may have stumbled into.

The falling snow did not help the search, and Dallen could hear Schmetterling's tone grow increasingly frantic.  How could their tiny foal survive such frigid conditions?  And how had they managed to be separated?  The stallion shook his head; time enough to think about that, after the foal was safely at their sides.  He continued to search, calling for the colt.

After a few more circles, Schmetterling dropped to the snow beside Dallen, her wings drooping at her sides.  "I cannot see anything in all this snow!  What if we don't find him?"  She asked, panic in her voice, as she looked around.

Dallen pressed his muzzle against her neck, a gentle nuzzle to reassure her.  "We'll find Eranev; search the ground for a bit, I'll take to the air, let your wings rest a bit before you fall out of the sky."  With that, he launched himself into the thickly falling snow, calling out the colt's name once more...

((OOC: Eeee, this is such a cute idea!! ^^ Love it!))

"I do not believe this. I do NOT believe this!" Bihex snorted and stomped her hooves. Where her silver hoof struck stone, bright sparks leapt up from the ground. The metalsmith Fae's temper ran hot or cold, easily going from something as stable as ore to a sudden blaze of fury. It was no surprise the losing of her first offspring could cause such an extreme reaction.

She looked around the blustery landscape. The wind whipped her mane about her face, also moving the light falling snow into random drifts, some almost deep as her chest, other places bare all the way down to the stone. Out of her love for the ore-rich earth of the mountains, Bihex had chosen to walk along the foothills on their way to Willow Glare.

She regretted the choice now.

Behind the Unicorn Fae came a silent shadow stepping through hock-high snow. Quiet Heart, like his name, did not speak often. Still, in the short time he and Bihex had been together, she had come to understand the somber stallion quite well. She knew his silence did not mean he was at ease in the situation. His ears swiveled alertly, searching for sounds of their little one just as Bihex strained her eyesight looking through the falling snow.

"Well, come on," snorted the mare finally, setting off through the powder once again. She would not stop or rest until her family was whole again.

Cirrus gathered his girls together.
"This is a serious matter. A couple of our young were along on the trec then the storm kicked in. We all need to work together to find them." He looked fondly at his herd, knowing they would do thier best.

Rind was near tears. She had a particularly strong bond with the missing foal. Although the snow was almost withers-high on her, she tried to break the trail right away. Cirrus stopped her.

"We go in pairs. Faettes go with a Fae to help you in the snow. Meet back at Willow Glade in 2 hours."

Mystra joined up with Rind, being one of the strongest in the herd. She bravely shouldered into the deepest drifts, clearing a path from the edge of the Glade. Cirrus joined the 2 females. They headed NorthEast.

Without a word, Duchess and Midean joined up as team 2. Nobody was really suprised, the 2 were insperable. Besides, with thier ability nearly read eachothers minds, they would make a strong team for searching out the location of the missing young ones. The silently headed South, along the mountainside.

Pumice looked at Exodus and sighed. Always playing babysitter. With exagurated motion, she signaled that the little Faette should follow her into the marshes.

Rolling her eyes, Exodus went along. She didn't say anything. Now was not the time to argue that being small didn't make her a child. There were more important things to attend. Time enough to bicker later.

Winter shakes her ice blue manes, trying to hide the bitter pain on her face. "I will not lose another foal!" She screams in rage. All around her, the snow whirls in heavy clouds, obscuring her herd's view even more. She knows her own power is making things worse for the search party around her, but she can't help it. The moment she realized her newborn was missing, she lost all control.

"Easy, love," Stellar Sky whispers, his own eyes trying to scan the mountains on one side and the marshes on the other. He nozzles his mate softly, hoping to calm her down a little. "We have to cover as much ground as we can. With the help of the others, we will find our little girl soon."

Stellar Sky hesitates before taking off to search from the skies. They can't stay around and wait for Galactia to return. At least they have the comfort of a large herd, who are all trying their best to help find the lost children.

Winter swallows and stares after her mate. There's no way she's going to stay here and wait! "Galactia!" she starts shouting time and time again, as she slowly plods through the snow, looking for her lost little girl. "Kryoni!" she adds, as she remembers the lost Faette foal. After all, she is part of this herd now... and Maya's always been nice to her.

Maya can only stare at the angry Fae, her own tears dripping uncessantly. Her love for Efori is a lot more recent, of course. It has taken them both so long to get aquainted. And it has taken Lucifer even more time to accept the angel faette close to her. But this journey, the bigger Fae promised to protect them on this Wintersday Journey and so they came, with hope in their hearts. Lucifer even seemed to include the winged colt in his protection.

But how did little Kryoni disappear from under the watchful eyes of three winged Faettes? She can't fathom her little one's disappearing act, but neither will she lay blame on his father... or on their loyal guardian.

As Stellar sky takes off into the skies, Efori and Lucifer do the same, joining the Fae's search from above. Maya can hear Winter's calls for the two missing foals and starts her own calls. "Kryoni! Galactia!"

All around her, she can hear the same calls, as the entire herd spreads out, looking for lost foals in the white mist. At least the search seems to settle Winter a little. Now that she has a goal, the swirling snow seems to calm down.

(OOC: removed the pics of Lucifer and Starwing and concentrated on both couples. The others are still there though. Lucifer is as much a part of Maya as her own life, so it would be very out of character for him not to be there. )

Sunchaser

The two faes had come together once more to create a foal. They had of course but now it seemed the foal was hiding or had run away. A snort came from the firey female as she looked around. "Great Shi'ka watch this one become a goody toeshoes as well." Vengenza snorted, fire coming from her nares as her skeletal wings craked as she snaped them out to smack the black male. She was rewarded with a bit on the firey appendages and just snorted as she countinued to move forward. "Its not my fault. You where supposed to be training today not me. Who knows maybe this is a good thing and they have learned to hide from their parents." He snorted, shaking his silvery main as he moved forward, looking for get out of the firey enchantress.

While the two evils where looking for their foal another couple was also frantic. On the bed of grass near the herd was Flastri, her white sightless eyes tearing as she called out for her child. Nuzzling into her neck was her now mate Black fire. He was the first child out of Vengenza and Shi'ka and had become good unlike his parents. He still had a mischievous streak but he had fallen in love with the 90% blind mare Flastri. They had a foal and now they could not find them. The rest of the herd was out looking so that the couple and new parents could stay together.

Hope you like :)

Snow was not their friend.  Akiko didn't mind cool temperatures, but her preference was fall, and this was definitely not.  She turned her head, checking on the foals their herd had told, firmly, to walk, not fly, behind the red Fae and before the silver Fae.  Her heart stopped in her chest, however, when she could not see either of the winged foals.

"Kasady!"  Her cry was sharp, and the stallion turned immediately, his purple eyes searching out what could have so quickly distressed her.

"Asahiko," he said, wondering where their tricorn son might have gone.  "Ryn, Iphis!"

Ryn's silver ears pricked forward when Kasady called and he shook the snow from his forelock, trying to clear his line of sight.  Iphis was plastered to his side, shivering nearly uncontrollably, and the two surged forward as one to come to the other stallion.

"Where are the foals?" the silver Fae asked in surprise, looking around the white-washed world.  Their mostly-silver coloured foal was occasionally difficult to find in the snow, bu it was still /there/.  Or had been.

Kasady shrilled angrily, fear and frustration snapping his temper.  "We must backtrack.  The foals have to be here somewhere!  They couldn't have flown off, the snow is too heavy."

Akiko nodded in agreement and the four Fae began to call for their foals.

(( If we can just do one, i'd love Akiko and Kasady's foal; if we're allowed to apply for two, i'd like to gift Ryn and Iphis' foal to kasatsu. ^^  Thank you, Garney, this was a fun diversion from sick sick baby!  : ( ))

Mercedes and Ivani had not been together very long, indeed they were both very young, and already their companionship was being tested. It had been one of those moments where you only averted your eyes for an instant, and in the next, the young foal had disappeared. Their foal had always been a curious, always wanting to explore new areas of the Faith Forest in which the pair resided.

Mercedes was often a quiet mare, taking everything in stride, and not quickly forming opinions, but waiting until she knew all the facts. This was one of the few times in her life that she could be described as "frantic". Ivani had been panicked from the beginning. Others had always called him loud and impetuous, but he had a good and pure heart, which was what had attracted Mercedes to him in the first place.

They did not race through the forest to locate their offspring, but instead searched very slowly. In a lush forest, the foal could easily be hiding in a bush, or behind a tree, and would be easily missed. They hoped and prayed to Una and Ien that they would soon find their foal, and that their child was not hurt.

(and as may be evident by my lack of description for the foal, I'm leaving everything to Garney to decide X3)

Mocha runs in distraught as can be, his eyes wild and flashing whites. He looks about and calls out "milo..meela". Nothing, in comes behind him a small silver mare named sleet. As she looks about she nudges mochas, itll be fine love im sure theyve just gotten startled by the storm and are hiding under the trees canopy. Mocha looks at his mate "love im so sorry you left them with me only for five minutes and now they are gone". Sleet gives him a short cast and goes to a group of fae standing. "my name is sleet and my foals have run off in this horrid storm, have you seen two little metallic like fatte foals running about?" the faes around her shook thier heads and she went back to mocha. "dont worry love they will come out when everything clears up."

(sleet is owned by cutieepie she will be posting permission)

I am pretty sure that the two fae involved in finding the foal must be the mother and father of the foal.  As the journey to Willow Glade is a breeding event.  Otherwise, how will Garney know who the foals look like?  And they have to have a pedigree of course

Sean did not usually get worked up about anything trivial. A missing foal, however, was no small matter. When he'd noticed that the foal was missing, early that dawn, he had practically jumped to his feet. With a resigned snort -- this was going to be a long day -- he began his search.

If only, he thought an hour later, I had remembered to have breakfast before I left. He stared longingly at each tree, hoping to see a tasty apple -- or perhaps the foal itself, allow that seemed rather unlikely. Soon, the trees started to get thicker and the underbrush denser. With a splash, Sean's front hoof became submerged in a puddle. Sean snorted again, and, self-consciously, looked around to make sure nobody had seen his blunder.

Something white caught his eye, deeper in the marsh. Sean was ecstatic; believing the white creature to be the lost foal, he broke into an easy trot -- and abruptly halted. Wait a minute, he thought. The foal isn't white. And isn't there something... purple, there beside the first? Now rather nervous, he proceeded forward to investigate the pair.

Pumice looks up, startled. She thinks she sees movement through the snow.. there! Yes! She races towards the shape.. only to find herself face to face with a handsome stallion.

Trying to halt her charge before she runs smack into him, she stops nose to nose with him. Never one to be shy, she immediatly bows her neck and flairs her tail in her best pose.

"Hi there, handsome, where have you been?" she asks, "we should be looking together! I had to sneak away from Cirrus, but I'm all yours now. Shall we find our foal?"

Exodus doesn't hear the quiet exchange and has no idea there is another foal out there. How could she, when Cirrus has forbidden his mares from breeding outside the herd? Gumbling, Exodus decides to leave the 2 alone. No foals will be found as long as Pumice is too busy flirting. Backtracking her trail, she rejoins Cirrus, Mystra, and Rind.

Given the situation, Macaco seemed a bit too calm. Hallow, on the other hand, had worked herself up into a tizzy, although her reserved demeanor hid most of her nervous energy.

"Just tell me again," Macaco asked. "Where did she go? She was with you this morning, wasn't she?"

Hallow pawed the ground, her bearing almost regal. "She... was with me," she began. "I think she saw something, off... somewhere." She snorted, distracted. "My foal... it's all my fault."

Macaco moved forward and nuzzled his mate, knowing how terrified the young mother truly was. "We'll find her," he intoned gently. "Let's start searching."

Hallow bobbed her head in approval, following Macaco from their small home. Both kept careful watch, looking for any trace of the small, lost filly that was their jewel.

Zhenga sighed as she trotted quickly up to Kamau. Their newly born colt had wandered off somewhere, and while she wasn't terribly worried, they were in the marsh and it was quite treacherous at times. However any Marsh Fae foal would have little trouble, living here in the Trial Marshes came almost as naturally as breathing.

"Kamau, Oringo has wandered again. He's probably fine, but this snowstorm is rather harsh, and I'm concerned he's going to head towards the heart of the Marsh." She spoke quietly, most of the parents who had lost foals were crying out for them, but she knew that working herself into a panic was not the way to go.

"Again? I swear that little fuzzhead is going to be the death of me." Kamau snorted, and both he and Zhenga headed off towards the deeper parts of the marshes, keeping a keen eye out for any areas where they knew bragflies frequented. Foals tended to be lured to playing with the creatures, and many Marsh Fae parents cursed the small flying creatures for this fact.

Reality is only for those who lack imagination.

Their foal, their foal! Oh, how could she have let her baby out of her sight? Era was a very protective fae by nature. So much so that she knew the foal felt a bit smothered. She would never let her and French's foal wander off again once she found their baby. If the foal had been closer to her when the snowstorm had started she wouldn't have lost their foal. Her ears were perked forward, flicking towards any small sounds as she searched desperately.

"We'll find our foal, won't we?" She asked her mate. French and her had met the previous Wintersday Journey and though that one ended for her at the magicless Willow Glade, she never forgot her companion. They'd attempted this journey together and succeeded in getting to the glade and having a foal. Getting home was proving more stressful than the journey there.

Lectral

French was glad he had chosen to make the trip to Willow Glade this year; he had a beautiful mate now, and they had an adorable foal.  Who had mysteriously vanished in the sudden snowfall.  The stallion hadn't thought he had taken his attention away from the foal for more than half a second, as the start of the snow had taken him slightly by surprise.  But now, he and Era were frantically searching for the wayward foal!

He brushed a wingtip against Era's neck.  "Don't worry; of course we will!  The little one can't have gotten far; the snow is too thick.  It's just hiding tracks and smell.  We'll keep looking as long as it takes."  Which hopefully wouldn't be long, he thought to himself.  Who knew how cold it would get by the time the snow stopped?

It was a windier day than usual. The whistling air made it more difficult to hear any cries from the young foal. Aurora was trotting far ahead, poking her head in all directions, ears perked high to capture the slightest sound. She stopped to turn around and leered in disappointment at the stallion behind her.

"When will you learn not to be so careless, Steel!" she scolded above the fierce wind. Her long silky mane danced in front of her nose, obscuring the stallion who was now standing feet away.

"Careless?! Do you not recall that your son can fly?" he yelled back, motioning his hoof towards her glittery outstretched wings.

Aurora's eyes grew wide as she remembered that her foal had inherited her gift of flight and had probably just learned to fly. Consumed in mixed emotions of embarrassment, anger, and fear, she bolted into the sky to look for her son-- leaving Steel alone on the ground.

This was their biggest fight; their only fight. Aurora and Steel were very much in love and had never once argued in their courtship... until now. It was this defining moment that they both had become true parents-- a love that had overwhelmingly grown for their beloved son.

Leo shook his head causing his mane to shake as along with it as he sniffed the breeze. So long has he wandered alone stuck in the places between life and death only to be released in this world again to wander some place anew, he never really thought about taking a mate until he found her, or did she find him? It gave credence to those old sayings about love at first sight, but in their case it was true, she was fun, playful, beautiful, even if she did have a temper ...and probably going to kick him for standing there when he should be looking for their foal!. The gods must have thought it amusing to have given them a filly blessed with a combination of both of them feline and winged with the curiosity of a cat.  He shook his head lightly twitching the tip of his tail back and forth, which was the reason he was having so much trouble, she probably found something to chase and took wing, he could not find her scent on the ground further than this spot.  "She took off from here" he roared to have it reach her ears as he glanced behind him and up to Astrae who was trailing him from above.

Astrae nodded looking quite worried , Leo might be calm but she was worried the foot of the mountain were usually safe enough but there were other dangers a unwatched filly could get into, such as bothering a swarm of bragflys, falling into crevasses with snow or  even simply crashing into a tree. She shook her head and flicks her ears down in Leo's direction nodding as she heard him. "i'll look ahead, keep looking around" as she took off gaining altitude to see more of the landscape glad Leo was on the ground searching as well, he was a good tracker, serious at times but still kind, he was silly when she can finally got him to stop being shy with her. Hm...They shouldn't have napped for so long in the brief sun but it was comfortable and warm against each other and they were tired, they should have waited to join up with another faette family heading back down to the field before resting, they could have taken turns watching the foals then.

Espiritu closed her eyes turning her ears slowly this way and that trying desperately to catch even a small sound of the missing foal. With her eyes closed it was hard to even tell her from the snow until she moved not that was helpful in this cold land, she missed the desert warmth and at least there she would be able to find her fool without looking through or around snow covered trees!. Sighing softly she opened her eyes not catching any strange noises other than the normal ones of wind and tree, she shouldn't have left the foal alone with the two reets when she and Odin went to get a drink of water, he even offered to stay and she should have taken him up on it but she wanted to spend some time with him ,at least figure out what he was thinking, how he was taking everything. She did not regret it but she also knew these feelings were new to him and  he was trying so very hard it was adorable.

She took a few more steps listening intently hoping he wouldn't blow up half the forest in worry and they were so close to the field too, she could have gotten some help then. But no, it might be to late then if she went out to look for help and it has been snowing when they returned, most of the foal's tracks were hidden by the new snow. She stared at the fading tracks and continues to follow what she could still make out  hoping to find the foal or at least a hint before they were filled in completely.

Lady Everlasting

Odin moved restlessly nearby his mate Espiritu, looking constantly from left to right, little sparks of electricity dances between his horns, giving away his extreme agitation.  They had only left for a moment to get a drink, and nothing would have happened if this storm hadn't suddenly blown up.  But now their daughter was missing, and trying to find a nearly all white foal in the middle of a snowstorm seemed to be close to impossible.  The snow was blowing around so much that if Espiritu strayed too far from him he nearly lost sight of her, and as he watched her he was glad their daughter had taken mostly after her and only slightly after himself.  Some might take solace in  the fact the reets were still with their daughter, wherever she had wound up, but this only increased his worry as the little lizards did not do well in the snow.  This whole caring about others thing was very new and was providing Odin with a rather severe headache and he found worry was something he dealt with worse than most things.  He was ready to tear the forest apart if he had too, Espiritu looked so worried and that only increased his agitation.  He didn't want her to worry, he didn't want her to EVER have to worry about anything, he should have seen to that.  And now he was worried too.

His glowing eyes roamed across the landscape, trying to locate any sign of movement.  He had gotten rather good at locating Espiritu's white form against the snow covered ground so he hoped the filly would keep moving, and he would be able to detect it.  Or the reets.  He was straining to hear any noise from the generally chatty creatures, but he heard only the branches brushes up against eachother in the wind.  Staying close to the desert mare, the two of them continue forward, looking for any sign of their missing daughter and the reets.

Stella is a pretty loyal mare and she absolutely loved to be a mom, but she has lost track of her foal. "How could i loose my foaland my mate in all this snow" she kept wondering, as she was walking around quietly in the pretty glinsing snow. She stopped for a moment under a tree to see if there was any sign for a tiny foal or her beloved mate. She walked around the tree and with the muzzle at the ground, sniffing to see if she got any known signs on they had been there. She was about to be desperate as she hated to be alone and not knowing where to find 'em

Devila was running around desperat in circles, when she found out she had lost track of her little daughter, while she thought "This wasnt suppose to happen" for herself. She kept running, till she saw a lake with some trees and quite big stones, and she ran there to stop for a drink when she noticed at smell their reminded her and was very similar to her foal's.

Sean bowed his head at Pumice, glad to have assistance in his search, especially from the foal's mother. For doesn't a mother always have some strange intuition about the location of her offspring? he thought.

"It's good to see you again," he said aloud the mare, tossing his mane in what he believed was a rather studly manner. "Now, let's begin..." Carefully picking his way through the snow and the still unfrozen puddles, Sean began his search a second time, thankful for Pumice's well-timed reappearance.

Lady Everlasting

Osiris had been on cloud 9.  Up until quite recently, he couldn't imagine how anything could bring him down.  He had made the dangerous trek to the Willow Glade, and not only arrived safely but by some miracle had managed to catch the interest of the prettiest, sweetest fae he'd ever met.  They'd continued on together and had been blessed with a baby girl.  Parents all think their baby is the most beautiful that's ever been, but in Osiris' case he knew that in reality it was his daughter that was truly the most beautiful and was certain everyone else could see this as well.

He had been walking close beside his mate Ellement, allowing their shoulders to gently rub against one another in case they needed to communicate.  But they both seemed quite at peace with just watching their daughter explore up ahead of them.  Snow had begun lightly falling, and the wind soon picked up as well.  And that was when Osiris was sharply pulled off cloud 9.  The snow began falling heavily and the wind picked up drastically, both parents were caught off guard and soon realized their new addition was no longer with them.  The desert stallion tried to remain calm, but panic was quickly rising.  Where was she?  How far could she have gotten?  Being responsible had never been his strong point but he realized now was a time to be strong.  He reached out with his muzzle and touched his mate's neck.
Let's go, we will find her.

These four foals were found by intrepid parents searching the snowy cliffsides. The four had followed their instincts and were huddled together in a rock crevice to conserve body heat/ They suffered no ill effects from their short separation from their parents.

Ellement had been blissfully enjoying the journey back from the glade with Osiris. She never thought that a stallion would be willing to be with her, and the fact that the one that was, was an amazingly kind, and intelligent one was even more strange and wonderful for her. She had been pleasantly surprised by the beautiful baby girl that had been born, but she was a still a tiny bit worried that her daughter might end up like her, unable to hear. She hadn't shared her fears with Osiris yet, but she knew she would have to soon. It was only a tiny concern, when most of her attention was on how amazingly happy she was with her new daughter, and her life mate Osiris.

Walking next to her mate, with shoulder gently rubbing his, just in case they wanted to talk, she was truly at peace with the world, perhaps for the first time in her life. The spindly legs of her daughter amused her as they hopped and skipped ahead of them, and she marveled again at how amazingly beautiful their daughter was.  The light snow was actually adding to her good mood, the whole world always looked better with a coat of pure white added to it. However when the snow began to fall much more heavily, she turned to Osiris for a moment, and in that time, the slight figure of their daughter disappeared into the white of the sudden snow squall. She almost flew into a panic, but Osiris' calm mental voice soothed her. They would find their daughter; they just had to.

Reality is only for those who lack imagination.

Stella walked around bit, looking for her mate Myth and wondering where he and their beautiful little daughter Luna was. She was so afraid, that she tapped around the same two threes in a while, suddenly she stopped because she heard a noise, and she turned her head, she watched a fae come closer to her, but she couldnt quite see who it was for the snowy weather.
She started tapping back and forth a few times, and she noticed it something familiar with the fae, and she thought to herself "Could it be? . No im dreaming or am i?"

Shadow Myth looked at his beloved mare, tapping back and forth, as she was very nervous, he called at her to let her know it was him and then he stopped and turned his head as he thought he saw something moving between some rocks and threes. He turned his head towards Stella again and her way of being desperate of finding the little gal again.

Stella ran as fast as she could up to him and pressed his head into his neck, under the mane, and started to talk much about how happy she was to have found him again and that her heart feeled abit more whole now, but only would be completed if they found Luna again.
She walked 2 times around him, while constantly talking and expressing her concern for the little filly again.

Myth then said, "Let's go look inhere, i think i saw something" with a desperate tone. Stella looked at him and then nodded to say lead the way, they went inside the place with many threes and rocks to search for Luna.

Ember

For once Lady Talksalot was understandable. She was only repeating the name of her foal over and over in search of him. How she hoped her little boy would be okay in the cold weather. She was warmer than most faettes, what with her thicker coat. Her sharps eyes and keen ears were alert for any sign of her and Toxic's foal. The two had bonded over time being in the same herd and eventualyl they had become mates. They'd braved the weather to the glade and were on their way back along the rocky ground between the glade and the fields when they'd lost young Aryus.

Toxic gently nuzzled Talksalot's neck when he was certainly no one else would notice (not that many would pay attention to them when their foals were lost) and said, "We'll find him. He's young but he's smart." He was probably taking shelter somewhere out of the worst of the storm. Hopefully.

Fanjan's walking around in the snow, thinking about finding his little boy again, he knew that Dancer, was going out of her skin, because she loved that little stallion much, so he had to find him again.
He walked around, and looked at the foothill of the mountains and thought we should look there.. and he kept tapping back and forth a few more times and then he turned around and ran back to Dancer.

Dancer ran around a few trees looking for her son, she stopped for a brief moment, looked around and saw Fanjan comming up to her. She pressed her nose and head anganist his neck, tapped nervous in the ground and said "Did you find him?" she waited long for his reply and was hoping for a yes.
She didnt dare think about what would happen if they couldnt find him, she had dreamed of being a mother for so long.

Fanjan looked intense in her eyes, and shook his body, looked down and then replyed "No my love, afraid not, but i do know where we should look for him" He looked at her while smiling abit, thinking he loved her very much and their familiy would be whole if they found him again.
Dancer nodded at him to indicate he could lead the way, words didnt need to be spoken at this moment. She just followed him, trusting by his side.

They walked and ran to the foothills of the mountains, they looked around and started to search for the tiny stallion.
Fanjan saw something moving between some rocks and small threes, so he went over there and layed his muzzle on the ground.
