Gyan tosses his head expectantly as he enters the clearing.  The month of Febuary was  upon them, the month of void.  It was a short month though he knew, and then in March void would begin to wane, and ether begin to rise.  Now was the time to move forward with full force in the preparations for the month of June.  June was not only the month in which summer began but it was also the month of electric, the biggest month of celebration amoung the members in the Circle of Wisdom.  Today though, he was going to be listening to treaties from outsiders wishing to join the circle.   He was eager to see if there would be any worthy of joining the circle, and how many would come to try, worthy or not.

Standing in the centre of the clearing he stands and waits to see who will be the first to approach him.

Circle Info & History:

The faes who are part of the Circle of Wisdom strive to enlighten themselves in the areas of perception, learning, communication, reasoning, and fae lore.  They strive to know as much about the world around them as possible and they want to learn from the mistakes that have plagued faes in the past.

The Circle is led by a council but Gyan has been chosen as the overseer and can in times of need make the final decision on important matters, or potentially veto others.
Faes seeking membership often have electric as their element although this is not a requirement in order to be a member.  Any fae who shows a strong personal quest toward enlightenment and knowledge attainment would be accepted into the group.

The faes in this group see themselves as teachers and are very forthcoming with those faes who are initated into their group.  Otherwise they violently protect the knowledge and wisdom they possess, feeling those around them who are not part of their circle are not worthy of possessing it.  They feel that knowledge is power, and that by gaining more knowledge about who they are singularly and as a group; and in the past and present that they will
become more powerful in the future.

Rituals: Rituals are performed in order to honour the Unification Knowledge and the most coveted time for these rituals to occur are during thunder and lightning storms as the faes feel that the lightning is a sign from Knowledge.  There are other practices which are lead by Gyan that are exercises performed by the group in which to expand their minds and change their areas of perception.  This is done by eating the Kratom plant which is only located at the farthest reach of the Fields.  Group members often have to go on long journeys in which to retrieve some of the plants for the rest of the group.

The month of June is of particular importance to the Circle members, and they spend a good portion of the year preparing for this sacred month and have the greatest celebrations on the first day summer, June 21st.  This is not the only months in which celebration and meetings occur, but it is believed that this month is of utmost importance as it is the month of Electric, the month most aligned with their worshiped unification Knowledge.

Symbols:  All the faes who become part of the circle must wear this symbol (click) on their bodies somewhere, whether it is through a tattoo, or on a piece of bling.

The members also feel that certain animals are sacred and closely associated with widsom and knowledge.  The owl is one of these animals and they often revere these animals, and will make offerings to them in hopes of appeasing Knowledge.  Their prescense during meetings is seen as a good omen, so meetings will often be held as dusk begins to fall.

Member Composition:
The circle has a High Council who are responsible for organizing meetings, and making major decisions in regards to the Circle and it's members.  The High Council generally consists of 5 members, not including the Circle Leader.  There are also historians, who keep oral histories of the important events in fae history.  These faes are no necessarily on the High Council but they are consulted in important matters and their wishes are often followed due to their revered nature within the group.  There are also teachers whose jobs are to seek out and gain as much new knowledge as possible.  The information they gather is brought to meetings and shared with the other members, at this point the fae historians begin the process of internalizing the information so it can be used at a later date.  Seekers of Knowledge are those fae who are seeking their right to join the circle and are on the path of proving that they are truely devote to Knowledge.

How to Join:
Any faes interested in joining this circle, may step forward and tell Gyan why they feel they should belong to this circle and what they believe they will be able to bring to the circle.  (Are they hoping to one day aspire to be Historians & Keepers of Knowledge? Do they want to become part of the council?  Why would they be suitable for these roles?)

Any faes may become part of the circle, male/female, foals, and any element.  If they are already of the electric element, they will be more apt to have the suitable qualities, if they are not the fae making their treaty to Gyan will have to be even more convincing in showing they possess the necessary qualities.

Please post at least 500 words to show Gyan your interest
