I have so many unfinished stories and someone told me they'd like it if I posted them, just to kinda brainstorm over. You can use pieces of these, you can use names, you can even use whatever I have written (with permission ;D )

I just need some critiques and ideas and maybe if you like one of the stories, a boot in the butt so that I'll actually finish it ^^;;;

Edit: These are all handwritten, so it might take a while to transfer >.>;;

Ciena got straight A's in all her classes but she never studied, she just read the minds of her teachers. She had only one friend who told her about all of her problems. Her name is Sylver, named after the shock of silvery hair growing on her head. Sylver was always bubbling with personality and had new things to talk about everyday. Ciena lived with her brother Cairro who looked almost exactly like her except that he was four years older. Every morning Ciena woke up, put on a pair of camouflage cargo pants, maybe hoping one day she could disappear into the background, an overly baggy t-shirt and a hoodie on top of that. She didn't like people knowing anything about her, she liked being secluded, unnoticed. That meant that she didn't hear her name in other people's thoughts as much.

More Info:

Why must it always be me?
Can't take it anymore...
Save me from the thoughts that invade my mind...

- Her name is Ciena.
- She can read minds though she doesn't want to and only one person knows she can do it, though some assume.
- She is always wearing ear buds and blasting the heaviest, loudest music she can find online.
- She hates going to school where the preps and jocks congeal.

Prologue

My twin sisters and I were born on the same day our mother died. She used all her energy in giving us life and died shortly afterwards. Our father never recovered, he died 13 years later and we got sent to our aunt's home. She was very strict and she spoiled my sisters rotten, they both had pitch black hair and deep, brown eyes, just like our mom she had always said. But I... I was odd, a bizarre throwback with my red hair and white-gray eyes, I definitely stood out in a crowd. I think our Aunt Felicity was afraid of me. I don't blame her...

Chapter I

On my 16th birthday we had an amazing birthday party... for the twins. I served everyone because nobody could tell we were related and I'd always been hidden away anyways. I kept my eye down, circulating the drinks and finger foods for four straight hours. After the party I went back to my room where my only friend, Sara, was waiting for me with a small cake and... a present?.. A big present. It was sitting on the bed. I looked at her in surprise "You didn't have to get me anything" I said exasperatedly, she blushed slightly and showed me the cake "You've always been so nice to me, so I decided to be nice to you too. My dad pitched in and helped me buy your present." She smiled and I took a step back in surprise. Sara looked up at me with her big green eyes and I sighed, sitting on the edge of the bed. She lit up and did a small girly squeak that hurt my ears and jumped excitedly on the balls of her feet. With some prompting, I slowly opened the package. It was a beautiful black saddle with silver inlays and a matching bridle. There was also a plain black saddle blanket and halter to go with it. "Do you like it?! Do you like it?!" She squeaked excitedly, I looked at her, mildly confused "But... I don't have a horse." I said, like it should've been obvious. Sara just got more excited and started pulling me out of my room by my wrist, still bouncing "Come on, Aaron!" she squealed excitedly as she led me out to the barn where we hadn't kept anything but goat for the last two years. My heart was pounding and despite myself, I let myself think that I'd actually got something I'd been wishing for. Just before we walked through the door, she stopped and blindfolded me, I grunted as she took my hand and led me through the barn door, pulling me about halfway through it before stopping. My heart felt like a runner trying to win the 100 yard dash at the Olympics. Sara pulled off the make-shift blindfold and smiled like a four year old with a mud pie, I glanced to my right and froze. There was a horse in the stall, not just any horse but the black one with the silver mane and tail I'd been mooning over for almost a year. "Midnight Star" I breathed, not believing my eyes. I reached out and she snuffled my hand, looking for food, I scratched her forehead and looked back at Sara with a look of amazement still plastered dopily across my face. She smiled "I asked dad and he said that if you'd of let him pay you for all the work you do, you could have bought him and all the tack yourself." I laughed and gave her a big hug, swinging her around in a circle and accidentally startling Midnight. "Whoa, sorry buddy.." I said, patting his nose gently.

          "Well..."

          "Well, what?" I asked, confused.

          "Aren't you gonna ride her?" Sara asked, grinning.

I ran back to the house, grabbing all the gear and some snacks as well as the shoulder bags I had, to substitute for saddlebags. I ran back out to the barn, saddled and bridled Midnight then stepped back to take in her beauty. "She's the most beautiful mare I've ever seen" Sara cooed, looking as moonstruck as I did. I swung up into the saddle and offered her my hand, pulling Sara up in front of me just as Maria and Mariah came into the barn. "What are you doing?!?" they snapped at the same time "Did you steal that horse?!" Maria asked. "So that's why Auntie Felicity couldn't buy her for me." Mariah sighed. I glanced towards the end of the barn they'd come in at and noticed, for the first time that there were two palominos in the first stalls of the barn. "My papa and I got Midnight for Aaron, so no, he didn't steal him!" Sara replied to them haughtily. Maria grinned nastily "Aunt Felicity won't believe you two over us, we can tell her that Aaron stole that horse so that we couldn't have it and she'd give it to us." Maria looked triumphant while Mariah glanced over at her twin sister.

It was a sunny morning and everything could be seen in clear definition for miles, Jackie was doing what she normally did; feeding the animals. The dogs barked merrily and jumped on her as she walked out the front door, slid a baseball cap on her unruly brown hair and pushed the dogs down, brushing the dirt from her already dirty blue jeans.
          "Ginger, Tertia, I already told you about jumping on people." Jackie said with a smile in her eyes, Ginger just licked Jackie's fingers and acted as if she didn't do anything. But Tertia, amazing, beautiful Tertia, actually looked sorry and kind of guilty. Jackie laughed, patting Ginger on the head and scratching Tertia behind the ears as she walked.

"Daddy!" a little girl of eight or nine yells out as a man with lightly graying black hair and a dark green outfit with intricate silver designs and trim to match his mystically emerald eyes with soft silver flecks in them, he was riding a proud black stallion. The child urged her white pony into a trot to meet him halfway down the road.

More of the story (unwritten):

Bandits detain her and her father, one of them grab her and another backs the father up the the edge of a cliff so that it would only take one person to keep him there but the ground wasn't stable and it crumbled beneath his feet. He died and she kept the horses but went back with the bandits and ended up becoming the leader by the time she was seventeen. She went out in search of her successor since there was nobody there worthy/with the capabilities to lead. She found a promising recruit and ends up falling in love with him.

Vampyre

The moonlight flickered dimly off of an abandoned hospital where smoke billowed up from within. A tall red-headed man walked towards the fire murmuring incomprehensible words. The fire swayed to the movement of his lips as if dancing for him. The fire started to die down, creeping lazily across the building as if going to sleep. The man smiled and a woman with bright blue eyes came up behind him, "Kyle, there's no need to show off." He turned towards the woman with a toothy grin on his face and said, ".... something.... [Not actually what he said but I haven't figured it out yet]"

More info;

Kyle is a Vampyre which means he has cat eyes and can control fire. He was spoken about in a prophesy but very few remember anything but the idea of the vampyre.
When he was turned, he lost his memory but as he lay on the bed he felt as if he were frozen, unconsciously lighting fire to the space around him but the flames protected him from any rubble until he was laying in the center of a pile of rubble with nothing but ashes beneath him.
