I am posting on behalf of the owners, and since I am a mod over there, it's cool with them!  I do hope that it's OK to advertise here.  We are having a recruitment thing right now, always looking for new members to join our little community.  As I was browsing the members list here, I noticed a few familiar names of some old players.  Anyway....XD



Welcome to the wild and wonderful world of the tiniquine! Tiniquines are tiny adoptable pixel horses brought to you by Raven. They are individually illustrated, extensively interactive, being breedable, registerable, showable, and roleplayable. The community has had a long history and had some off times in the past, but we're going strong and better than ever. For all you grabby kids, tiniquines are not free for the taking, you need to be a member first to get your hands on these little cuties. Please enjoy yourself and join the addiction!

Tiniquines has been going strong for six years, since April 2006. We are a small tight-knit community. We are cyber pet lovers, equine lovers, and most of all friends. We're looking for new members to join our little equine addiction!

I'd really like to join, but my head is just spinning right now trying to figure out what rules apply still and which are new. I read the rules ect on the Shadow-something website and they held no relevance to the questions asked in the joining board :s I'm slightly confused.

I was really excited about the art and the thought of a small active community, but I also like to have some kind of freedom in what I do and I'm not sure if that's possible. For example: "Active members are expected to participate in chat, sales, breedings, shows, and festivities." I am required to participate in all of that and every month too otherwise I will become an inactive member? What if I don't want to show each month or maybe not show at all? What if I just want to chat and occassionaly breed and obtain new horses. I understand you can't just be around to snag stuff and then disappear. And that's not my intent. I defenitely wanna chat and roleplay and have fun. But I also want to have some freedom of choice when it comes to breeding and showing. I don't like that is predetermined how I can play the game. If the rules aren't as strict as I think they are I would love to join, but if I understood correctly and I really can't choose what I participate in then this is not the right game for me. Too bad, I would have loved a small and fun community to join.

Hello everyone!  I am the creator/owner of Tiniquines.

The game is actually very laid back.

The rules you are seeing 'YourLoveOnly', are simply there to show grabby kids that they can not come and join ONLY to get their hands on tiniquines and do nothing else, because we had a problem with that for a while.

Its a very interactive game and even though the rules might sounds strict, they're actually very casual. The actual posting requirement is only 10 posts PER MONTH. We just don't want to see people come and join only to get tiniquines and then vanish again once they have them. Its meaning is only to deter people who want want want from a game but really do not want to participate. You are not required to show, roleplay, etc. They are just good ways to take part in the activities on the board.

You are not REQUIRED to take part in anything on the board as long as you are reletively active and not there just to take the tiniquines and run. =)

If anyone has questions about joining, feel free to ask here OR on the board under Newbie Help. Everyone there is very friendly and wiling to help with any confusion.

All of the rules for joining are on the website and forum. I will also make sure they can easily be found in both places, as I realize they are kind of spread out.

We are all really close and committed to our community. We're looking for others who would like to come ad be part of a small tight-knit group of people and become friends over the common goal of cyberpetting.

I did read all the way through the website already
And I do love the fact that if you didn't read through it you can't get accepted.
People should read what a game is about and know what is going on before joining.
Most of us came from PI and I remember when TheKennel was still on PI people would pop in and post stuff like "these r cute can u gimme 1" which severly annoyed me. If you don't wanna put any time into an adoptable then don't bother at all. So I defenitely get your point of view. I'm glad it's not as strict as I thought it was. I will defenitely join and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone

Have to say that your front page is a little misleading
Tlouey has been making the pixel ponies for at least to my knowledge ten years now, and I believe they were created when she was in her teens.

look at the tack shop to drool, these will eventaully if Tlou has anything to do with it become an automatic sim game, so again your ponies are not as unique as you advertise.

I thought I would mention this as I know Tlou has a heck of a time with people stealing her lines and passing them off as their own.
I can see that this is not the case with yours, but maybe for legal reasons you should reword your site so that people know there actually are other pixel pony/horse adoptables out there.
