This is an open RP to anyone and anybody. Images are nice, but not required. Please no one-post wonders. If you have more than one character, please make sure we know who is who. I am using my Quin and my Painted Unicorn, although you may use Faes, Faettes, dogs, cats, etc.

"Come, 'Mira," said the black mare reasonably. "The storm has stopped."

"Go yourself," retorted the bright blue winged unicorn childlishly. "The rain makes my feathers sticky."

"Nath'mira! It rains for hours upon hours, and you complain daily that you cannot fly properly in this poor depraved cavern and yet now, when the rain and lightning and thunder has stopped, you do not want to go out! The sun is actually out! You can fly and stretch your wings, and eat sweet green grass instead of dry grass," the black mare coaxed.

"Midnight, what if it rains again? I don't want to be hit by lightning!"

Soothingly, Midnight said, "'Mira, if it rains, you simply fly back here or wherever the closest cover is. You travel much faster than I can on foot. And it is not likely that it will rain again; look, the clouds are gone!"

"Fine," said Nath'mira sulkily. "I don't see why we can't stay here."

"Exercise is good for you," said Midnight firmly, steering the young winged unicorn  out of the mouth of the cave. Rain dripped from the overhang, and puddles laced the ground. The grassy plain was marshy and wet, looking green and vibrant despite the muddy puddles. Birds wheeled over the trees, drying their wings in the sun.

With a whinny of joy, Nath'mira launched herself into the air, pumping her small wings to stay aloft. "You were right, Midnight!" she cried. "It does feel good!"

"I told you so," said the mare, amused. She lifted her knees and galloped across a gravely area to a large boulder hollowed out by many years of drips from the overhanging ridge of rock, where a pool of clear water was located. Drinking deeply, she raised her head to keep an eye on her mischievous young charge.

Ceru scrambled across the marshy ground as fast as her stubby Gidget legs would take her. It felt so good to be able to run around again after being cooped up in her owner's house during the rain. Not that Ceru didn't love her Gidget brothers and sisters but there was a limit to how many games of hide-and-seek you could play in their too-small house. It was much more fun to play outside amid the grass and the trees and the...puddles! Ceru excitedly hurried over to the muddy puddles and began to splash from one puddle to another until her blue-green skin was coated with mud. Puddles were the most fun thing in the entire world, Ceru thought happily. There was only one thing more fun than a puddle and that was a...pool! To her left, Ceru spied a large boulder with a pool of irresistibly clear water on top. Chirping happily, Ceru hopped towards the boulder.

Startled as the green and white Gidget appeared on the top of the boulder, Midnight shied away before recognizing a Gidget and returning.

"Hey there. I'm Midnight," she said, taking one last sip before waiting for the Gidget's reply.

Angella

Ceru looked up at the enormous black creature leaning over with a mixture of awe and fear. Awe because the animal was the biggest Ceru had seen in her entire life (even bigger than Ceru's owner, Angella) and fear because although the creature seemed friendly, it had big hard hooves that Ceru was sure would crush her tiny Gidget body if the animal was so disposed. Ceru considered making a run for it, but the animal ("Midnight", Ceru remembered, it had called itself "Midnight") had long legs and would quickly overtake her if she ran. It was better just to cooperate with the creature and find out if it was dangerous or not. "My name is Ceru" Ceru said, in a voice she hoped sounded braver than she felt. "What are you doing here?"

Laughter rumbled in Midnight's chest and she snorted. "Same as you, I gather, drinking fresh, clean water instead of muddy puddle-water."

A chestnut mare approached. "Mother?"

"Yes, Lazulele?" said Midnight, turning to the chestnut.

"Where is Mira? I have something to show her." The new Quinsta was soft spoken. When she noticed the little Gidget, she smiled. "Who are you, Small One?" she lowered her head to seem smaller to the plainly fearful little creature. "I am Celtuin Lazulele, but you may call me Lazulele."

"Mira is flying," replied Midnight. "She is over there," she added, flicking her tail in the direction of her small charge. "And this is Ceru."
