I just caught my first ever shiney pokemon. I've never encountered a shiney before, but YES!
Shiney Durant.

Over at the AAA we had a big event for the release of White/Black, and I got a Raichu boy! ^_^

Got through the storyline on White, transferred my team over to a friend for safekeeping, and started over. I love these games. I have a pathetic little-girl crush on N. Neeeeeeeeee.

I cannot figure out how to get Victini Wifi at my school has a password, so no go there. I went to Starbucks, made the connection on the trial WFC screen, but then still got denied when I tried to get my mystery gift via WFC. Help??

I failed for getting it, my hubby had to do it for me both times  I kept getting the error too.  I think he went to the same screen, but chose a different option?  Maybe try one of the other options?

I can ask when he gets home if i remember, but he won't be home until after 9 and it is only 4:20 now

You have to enter the wifi code and password. And then when the connection is working, you can get the liberty pass.

My home doesn't have actual wifi, but I entered our internet code and password (which is a string of a million letters and numbers @.@) and it worked for me.

Honestly, this is the first game I've ever gotten stuff to work like that. And I've already used the GTS to get some pokemon.

First I used the GTS to get an oshawatt, and someone was trading it for a pokemon I had literally caught five minutes before (it was like... Karrablast. Not sure if it's rare, but I caught another one right after I traded it).

Then I put that little grass looking pokemon, one that is like a bud and is the second stage of the catterpillar one, I put that in the GTS for a Snivy. And I got one. But it's from Japan and the nickname is a bunch of characters I don't know... but that's ok. He's still cool

And then today I went on to see that someone had sent me a unphesant female, and I don't remember what I traded for it, but I love the female unphesants, and I've been too busy to train my own.

And then I beat the game today. I went on the GTS right after seeing N's Zoroark, and low and behold - someone was trading one for a Levienny or whatever it is called. The third stage of that caterpillar pokemon I mentioned before. Of course, I had one that I traded without a second thought So exciting!

^^ And now I've got a national dex. So excited to catch some new pokemon.

I've now tried six different locations with free Wifi, and have yet to get a successful connection. At one location, the "trial" was successful but the Gift download didn't go through. At the others, the trial is unsuccessful (different error almost every time). It shows 3 green bars, 3 green bars, 3 green bars... and then all of a sudden turns into the red no-bar image and pops up an error. I only have one day left

I have an extra victini, if anyone wants it. Anyway, I beat both black and white, the latter being my main one. I've caught all of the wild legendary pokemon, so I'm kinda bored.lol

I stopped by someone's house that had unlocked Wifi, and it worked Still no idea why the Wifi at Starbucks, etc wouldn't work, though.

A little while ago I traded for a victini, so I have an extra. If anyone here failed to get one and wants it I'd be more than happy to help out.
But it does have a japanese name I can't change.

I just beat the main storyline last night Team of Samurott, Victini, Emolga, and (in the last two fights) Reshiram.

This is the fight time I've ever actually beaten the Elite Four. And I think I figured out my problem. In my old games, I'd always try to get a really diverse team of six Pokemon and level them ALL up to at least one level higher than the highest Elite Four Pokemon. This leveling would require me to wander around in grass and caves for literally hours battling wild Pokemon with low EXP gain. I think I pretty consistently gave up after a while.

This time, I had my wonderful team of three, who were all already at level 56+ after getting through Victory Road. So I just marched in and beat the Elite Four right then and there.  I had the other three slots full of random low level Pokemon; I sent one in after a key player fainted, full revived the key player, and let the low level guy get KOed. Then I'd switch back to one of my main Pokemon

I personally do what you say, go in the grass for hours and train. But I just keep doing it until the levels get high.
Og course, I have my new team from after beating the elite four.
Consists of a floatzel, a tepig, a servine, a shiney durant(my durant rocks, he's super strong!) , a tyranitar, and a uhhhh what is it called? The ancient rock flying fossel bird XD

I'm trying to beat the elite four a second time. I've never done that before.
