Anyone else play this addicting game?  It's a realistic rabbit breeding and showing sim:
http://www.luckylapine.com/

Breeds so far on the site are: Dutch, Dwarf Hotot, English Angora, English Lop, English Spot, Flemish Giant, Holland Lop, Lionhead, Mini Rex, Netherland Dwarf, Norwegian Silverfox, and Standard Chinchilla.  If you love rabbits or breeding sims, come check it out!

Some tips if you decide to join up:
-It's MUCH cheaper to buy a small hutch and upgrade it, than to start off with the biggest hutch.
-If you can afford the $20 in credits, buy a Lifetime Travel Pass.  If you can't, use some of your starting credits for a seasonal travel pass.  Either one lets you travel from town to town for free instead of spending $3 every time you want to leave your hometown.
-When browsing pet store rabbits, keep a second tab open to the breed standard for that breed so you can easily check to see how close the rabbit's permanent stats are to the standard.  And if you want to be sure to avoid inbreeding, don't buy two pet store rabbits from the same litter.

[Edit] I'm springacres #358 on there if you want to add me as a friend :)

Giving this a nudge, cause they just added guinea pigs today :)

I signed up for piggies, but the art really put me off and the fact that there's satin.

Especially the American and Silkie lines look odd weird and the Teddie fur is totally not like teddies at all.. I only like the Abyssinian to be honest. I also hate that not all countries in this world are up to date about how dangerous the satin gene on piggies is, I had hoped they would not put satin there as it gives people the impression that there is nothing wrong with it, but sadly only some of the Europian countries seem to be really knowledgeable about that. So yeah, I did sign up because I couldn't see the art otherwise but I doubt I'll be using my account.

I signed up, but it is confusing.  I buy stuff but nothing shows up anywhere, nothing can be added that I see, I can't water it, no idea where to find things, can't find a place to purchase this seasonal travel pass.

I probably won't be playing as the game seems very "new User Unfriendly"

YLO - yeah, the poses do look a bit odd to me too, maybe because of how stretched out they look.  And wow, I didn't know that about the satin gene; I'd heard about the roan/dalmatian gene causing issues in homozygous cavies, but not issues caused by satin.  Can you tell me more about that?

PM, I agree, it is rather confusing at first.  Best advice I can give is to check out the new player FAQ and new player guide that are pinned on the Help board, but pretty much everything has to be equipped from your player inventory (the satchel looking icon at the top of the page).  The seasonal travel pass can be bought with credits (page is accessibly by clicking the carrot icon next to where it shows your player funds).

It is like osteodystrophy but research at this point has proven that it's not that disease, this one is only seen in satin guinea pigs. Somewhere a looong time ago when satin was anew gene a mutation must have happened causing this to appear on a gene that's coupled with the satin gene, as it's a satin-only disease and it's proven impossible to breed out. There's not a breeder who doesn't have the disease in their lines, although they all say their piggies are healthy of course. But the disease doesn't always show at young age, it can show up at any age and sometimes the piggy will pass away before developing symptoms. Some breeders say if you do satin x normal instead of satin x satin it will make the piggies disease free but that's not through, any offspring that shows the satin coat has the same odds of developing the disease no matter what parents. My country is one of the leading ones when it comes to research alongside other countries like Sweden and Denmark. In Sweden they are even banned from shows and other countries are also debating this.

The following article is Dutch, but the pictures speak a 1000 words. First picture is the x-ray of a healthy piggie, the middle one of the satin disease in early stage and the final one is a severe stage: http://www.caviaforum.nl/members/ronald-albums-satijnziekte-picture107885-dscf7303.jpeg

Wow, I had no idea.  I can't see either of the pictures you linked, YLO, but I'll take your word for it.  Satin sounds like the guinea pig equivalent of the tailless or folded ear genes in cats, both of which cause serious issues if the cat is homozygous for them (the homozygous form of taillessness is so dangerous that kittens with it are either stillborn or partially paralyzed; while cats homozygous for folded ears have musculoskeletal deformities).  The difference, I think, is that both taillessness and folded ears in cats are dominant, but are only debilitating in their homozygous forms.
