What should I do?

I am not trying to start any problems, I just need some advice and I guess I just need to vent a little.

I have made a trade with someone and have went through with my end of the trade...3 days later I still have not received the part owed...I have messaged the player and have not received a reply and they have been on more than once every day since I put my bid in. I don't know what I should do now...I feel like I have pretty much just been ripped off at this point because the user does not reply to PM's and will not accept my bid on the pet when they already own the pet I was trading....any help would be great!

Thanks!

Hmm, well since 3 days isn't that long I'd send another reminder and wait a few more days if they're still online regularly, and then send a pm to silv or one of the admins with details of the trade and see if they can sort it out.

I'm totally feeling your pain, CG! I really am. And you know why, as I've told you. But is 40 days too long to wait? Or should patience be a virtue and wait longer? But in your case, a simple accept bid shouldn't take three days.

I understand how frustrating that can be, Country. I know accepting a bid should not take 3 days, but sometimes people log onto Secundi really quick just to check a certain thing and then log off again without checking messages. Or if they left Secundi as an open window on their computer, it could say they are logging in when they go to their internet browser even though they're not actually viewing Secundi pages. I would give it a couple more days and if they don't get back to you by the end of the week, please contact a mod or Sil with details. :)

I know its frustrating for sure. I've waited 2 years for the other person to fulfill their end of my trade... Hah. It sucks, but all you can do is be patient, keep sending reminders every few days/weeks, and hope for the best. Maybe they just really haven't had time to do anything but check online from time to time? I know I owe FCFC breedings and a custom to Kah, but I just haven't had time to sit and color (However, tomorrow is looking VERY promising!!!! FINALLY!! :DD). The only thing I've had time to do is check on here to keep myself sane and connected to my friends. :/

I know its hard to wait but sometimes people just get busy and can't devote any time to the internet. I know I made Kah wait an incredible time for a trade, but we moved then I started my new job which seriously is WAY more time consuming than one would imagine. (12 hour days during the week and then time on the weekends too) sometimes something as simple as clicking a button is just DAUNTING.

Give it a touch of time. You don't know what's happening in someone else's life that can make even that simple action just overwhelming.

Has it been resolved by now, Country?

I don't think it should take that long to simply accept a bid but then everyone has their own standards and life can sometimes take unexpected turns.

If you're still waiting it might be worth contacting the agency owner of the pet you're waiting for. They might be willing to move it over for you.
As an agency owner myself, it's not something I'd take lightly and ideally I wouldn't want to get involved at all but ultimately I'd do what I can to help. Especially if you could provide some sort of evidence like an agreement in a trade thread or screen shots of pms.

<3 I hope you get your trade soon if you haven't already!
I know life gets pretty unpredictable. I still feel awful for making Kah wait so long for a feli kitten that nearly grew up before I noticed I hadn't put it up for bid! She had to poke me and I felt so awful.

Things happen <3 Hope it gets resolved soon!
