Haunting Attractions
You find yourself walking through a dark forest, a creeping fog begins to crawl through the trees and curl around your feet. You begin to worry that you are lost, you walk faster, following the path, hoping to find a way out.
The gets thicker, making it harder and harder to see. Soon you hear creepy music; you can just barely make out a glow in the fog ahead of you. As if this wasn't scary enough! You weigh your options, you could stay on the path and keep wandering along it aimlessly, or you could go towards the music and the light, where there's music and lights there is sure to be people, right?
You decide to check it out and see if you can find some help. As you get closer the fog begins to dissipate. A few steps closer and you find a clearing with lots of tents set up. Face painting, candy apples, and a few others. Down at the far end of the attractions you see a spooky sign that says Haunted House! Enter if you dare!
You go to check it out, wonder what you can find inside?
Once a day you can roll a 1d20 to explore the Haunted House. Maybe you can find some help, or at the very least something of interest.

A Monster A Day
River looks around after being turned down by the Kesali yesterday. She's really hoping to explore the haunted house but is too afraid to go it alone. Perhaps one of these other Kesali would accompany her? She looks up at a dark creature with bright blue and purple accents and she barely manages to keep her jaw from dropping to the floor. She's absolutely stunning, and she holds her head high in the air as she proudly weaves through the crowd of people. River pinches herself to force her legs to move forward, and reaching the Kesali, squeaks out the question "Would you like to share my candy and go through the Haunted House with me? I don't believe I would be scared at all with you by my side..."

SeaCrest finds herself in the library and she sees something move behind a curtain, she sneaks over and jerks the curtain aside and discovers an open window with a nice breeze blowing through.

A Monster A Day!
"Hello, little monster," she snickered from her porch. Hiding just out of sight, the purple, white, and cyan beast peaked from behind the leaves of her bush. The white and cyan did not give themselves over to the camouflage the little creature hoped for unfortunately..... It's eyes got wide as she looked into them, and she glanced away to keep the creature from thinking she wanted to challenge or dominate it. Her experience told her that shy creatures often likes to be ignored while they adjusted. "I'll be right back darling..." the woman said as she rushed inside to grab a can of wet, stinky cat food. "Perhaps this will sate your appetite and bring you out of hiding," she mumbled as she cracked the can open and sat on the porch steps, settling back into her book... or at least pretending to as she watched the little creatures reaction out of the corner of her eye.
[I think this settles it..... I am going to do some writing in November whether or not it touches the 50k word count or even becomes a story...... I miss writing...]
