Raeris welcomes you all into the large cottage, offering apple cider and sweets (you notice all apple flavored) that the sisters made for their guests. He levels his blue gaze upon you and closes his book. Lots of changes had been happening in the meadow lately, and he knew that with these changes there would be no way the triplets could care for all of the Elenaria to come to their home, and they would once again have to rely on caretakers.

"We have noted some things during this last harvest season, and we think you will all find very it interesting. It seems the presence of the Elenaria has caused the orchard to bloom even in the dead of winter, giving us beautifully perfect, ripe apples...constantly . Hence the apple inspired feast we have prepared for you." He glances at his mug of apple cider, and a somewhat dismayed expression crosses his face before he takes a sip and continues.

"Since the apples are constantly falling off the trees we have a feeling this means that the Elenaria will and can choose to court at any time, since they eat apples by the bushel when they begin the process. I just hope we can keep up with them."

The new courtship system is going live! We all hope you will be as excited about the change as we are. Here is what you need to know:

Rules to note!
Be Kind! Yelling spooks the Elenaria.

*There will no longer be breeding seasons, there will be courtships. As the apples are bountiful we do not have to wait for a harvest in order to be able to keep up with the demand the Elenarias have for the sweet fruit while courting.

*There will be a public running list in this thread of requested courtships. In order to maintain our distribution and to spread out the foals so as many people as possible can benefit from this process, you can only be on the claiming list, at most, TWO TIMES. So let's say you have 4 courtships that you would like to claim. That's wonderful! You can put in for two of them and when one of the eggs appears and your name comes off of the list then you can put in for the next, and so on and so forth, but your name for claiming can never appear on the list more than TWICE at any given time.

*Whomever requests the triplets help in courting their Elenaria shall receive the foals. If you are using someone else's Elenaria permission must be granted. Feel free to come to your own terms about cost to use an Elenaria as a mate.

*Stallions can father up to three times. This stands even if a sugar cube is used. Mares can only bear one mating. This rule STILL applies. How this will now work is that, like user claims, a stallion can only appear on the list as a father 3 times, and a mare can only appear once.
***Once their children have been born AND grown from their egg stage into a full fledged Elenaria THEN they can be put back on the list. This ensures the Elenaria get a little bit of rest between courtships, as the process (though never witnessed by human nor elven eyes) like all child bearing appears to be exhausting. And yes this is different than a user who can immediately hop back on the list.

*If you have a mare and do not have a stallion with which to breed her fear not! There have been cases (rare but true) of mares meeting an Elenaria in the wild and coming back with child. You must have a mare to participate in a wild breeding. Green Apples cannot be used in a wild breeding.

*Siblings cannot be bred together, nor can a child be bred with its parent.

*Elenaria must have been alive for at least 1 month before they can be courted.

*Prices are listed below but items should be available in the shop! They are subject to change (but hopefully will not) as we continue learning this adoptable process and discovering which ones are the most work intensive.

Breeding Items for Elenaria


Red Apple – Elenaria seem to eat bushels of red apples when they are preparing to mate. This item is required for all breeding. 30k (Can use up to 2 per season).


Green Apple- Leans the offspring more heavily towards the father. 50k


Yellow Apple – Leans the offspring more heavily towards the mother. 50k


Yellow Green Apple Makes the offspring a perfect blend of the parents. 200k




Dandelion - The offspring will be a filly. 90k.


Clover – The offspring will be a colt. 100k.




Carrots – Gives the chance of extra offspring. (Can use up to 2 per courtship season) 125k.


Sugar Cube – Allows for same gender breeding. 150k.

SPECIAL COURTSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

We tried to begin this in the first breeding season but did not quite manage to get it to lift off and for that I apologize to those who attempted. This post is to give you all opportunity if you so choose to try and obtain one of the Triplets' personal Elenaria as the mate of your own Elenaria in a courtship.

These special Elenaria are only available through USD bribes. We spent a lot of time discussing this, and do not take this decision lightly. At this time we truly believe this will be the ONLY aspect of Elenaria that will require USD as all of these Elenaria are personally incredibly special to us and we believe in being an affordable adoptable for the casual user. This is our one special aspect for those who want something a little more rare and are willing to give a little extra to that affect.

Due to this being a special aspect if you do choose to bribe and that bribe is accepted it WILL NOT count towards your Red Apple total, meaning you can request for 2 normal courtships and then attempt to bribe us in addition to those courtships. We are doing this as an additional reward to those who decide they enjoy us enough to invest their real USD into us and also because sometimes these decisions take us a long time [siblings tend to argue ;-) ] and we do not want someone to be stuck in limbo waiting on us to decide and missing out on other opportunities.
