Publishing Short Story?

I have a few fantasy short stories (3k and 4k words) that I write for a class. The professor recommended that I try to get one or both published. Does anyone have suggestions for an online fantasy magazine to submit to? Or any other ideas? I've never had anything published but a poem in my school's lit magazine.
