okay so i know some will remeber i tried to lose weight when my husband deployed. that was 2011. its no 2013 and while i did lose about 20 pounds I stoped working out. Well hubby is still home and we have been thinking of getting serious about having kids. If we want to have kids I need to lose weight. i also have a dream of running in the disney princess marathon. So i have started working out again.

I have decided to do step tuesday, thursday and saturday with doing the couch to 5k program monday wednesday and friday. I started up again yesterday with doing step and today i did my first day of the program. i tried doing 60 second jogging and 90 second walking but after 2 times of that i changed it to 60 second jogging and 2 min because I could do it better and i think I will be able to do it for the full 20 minutes. today i had to stop at 14:10 because of rain starting.

What i want to know is has anyone else done this program?

Kadana Sorano

I've heard of it but haven't done it. Good luck to you, though! :D

A quick word of warning about the jogging: Try to avoid running on hard surfaces as that tends to be pretty bad for your knees. You probably already know that but I thought I'd mention it anyway. :)

i will be going back and forth between the beach and our sidewalk. Mostly because we have lots of rain lately so if i want to get some excersize in then its the sidewalk :(

It must be lovely to have a beach nearby. I'm sure you'll be alright though - just run gently and don't try to push yourself too hard ^_^

i love it :) I am a swimmer and I can't wait for it to get warmer here so I can add laps to my workout. and yes I am going to take it easy. I know i do not have good knees and both my parents had to get knee replacements. I do not want to have to go through that i want my own knees. So taking it easy is a must but i need to get into shape. i meet my Trainer this weekend if all goes well and she can tell me what all i should add or if i am doing too much. I do not think I am doing too much since i feel good about it but you never know lol'
