Title: Error when trying to turn wobbles in..
Post by: SGA on June 01, 2010, 01:38:55 AM
Just went to turn my wobbles in, using the mass trade in option.  I clicked to select them all, then started at the bottom and UNchecked the bottom 100 wobbles.  Pressed the button to turn the rest in, and got this..

Huh, well, I just tried it out and didn't have any problems with it.  It may have been a one-time blip with the server.  Please try again and let me know if you encounter any problems.

I think it may be an overload thing. Im trying to organize my wobbles (just putting my 1 custom down with the named ones so I can turn in the rest) and I get this error over and over

Ok test log, using mass trade in option, testing my theory that its breaking cuz theres too many:

3840 (all my wobbles -the ones I had unchecked)- nonstop errors
25 wobbles- no problem
100 wobbles- no problem
1000 wobbles- took a second, but no problem
attempt at remaining 2752 wobbles- errored out

Just tried to mass turn in my Wobbles and got the error as well. I think we're overloading poor Secundi. XD *goes to turn them in in small bunches*

I don't know when the system first had the mass trade in I was able to turn in over 4000 of them, so it might be a poor burn out of poor secundi.

Sorry for the delay in retrying, but I just tried again with the same results.

I have 5568 total wobbles.  I ticked to check them all, then started at the bottom and unchecked the bottom 100, then clicked to turn them in.  Received the same error message again as before.

I think it's been established you can't try to turn that many in all at once, SGA. Try doing it in small bunches. I've been doing 100 at a time and it works fine. indigowulf says she did 1000 at a time and it worked okay for her.

Yes I realise that Ryu, but Silv asked me to try again, so I did.  Also, I'm unsure if it is a temporary problem, or a permanent one.  If permanent, OK, but if it's temporary then she may need someone to keep all their wobbles on hand for testing if whatever "fix" put in place works *shrug*
