This is a "Testing the waters" breeding season.  We want to get some breedings figured out and see how many people are interested.  This will be slot based, and each of the staff (PM and Wild) will open slots according to their time.

I hope everyone is excited, because breeding season is one thing the shop has sadly been lacking.

.:Event Info:.

This is a Breeding Season event.  You will post a form if there is a slot open, and each breeding will result in 1-4 babies.  You may only keep a total of 2 babies from each pair and must trade away any extras.  No beds are required, so you will be using sterile rooms provided by the staff.

.:Rules:.

- One pair per person at a time
- This is slot based
- Max of two breedings per person (so one per artist or both to one)
- Babies grow in three weeks
- Females may breed once
- Males may breed twice
- No breeding bed required
- if you are using registered pets, no Inbreeding
- Mixed breeding will be allowed (more info will be provided in the next post)
- You may choose to give FCFC the babies you don't want, but in that case they become ours
- Only slots open may be claimed
- This event has a fee of 20k per breeding (to be sent to artist colouring your litter)
- Forms for claiming spots are posted, please use them
- You may use someone elses critter, but the person who posted the form gets the litter, as it was their breeding
- No whining (it makes PM & Wild sad)

.:Inbreeding:.

This is highly frowned upon, but mostly if you are a registered kennel/Cattery.  This shows irresponsible breeding, but it is your critter so your choice.
If you do end up inbreeding the resulting baby will drop in quality as will the parents.  If you use a registered pet and it is bred to a relative, it can no longer be considered registered, so use the tool to check.

(So B quality parents, and C quality babies)

.:Mixing Breeds:.

This is a new thing.  We have decided this is allowed.  You can not mix a dog to a cat, but can mix breeds.  The resulting baby will get one of the parents linearts, but be dropped in quality, and be marked as species "Mutt" or "Moggie"

A parent who is registered, who has a Mutt/Moggie baby will not drop in quality and may stay registered, but the baby will not be able to be registered.

.:Linearts:.

Lineart edits will not pass unless the artist feels a want to pass it.  Collars and costume edits will never pass, I would not guess a collar would be easy to welp, so it won't happen.

.:Markings/Colours:.

Markings and colours can pass as a mixture, but as we try to stay real to how dogs and cats breed you could end up with something unexpected.

We have decided that if anyone is willing to risk a Merle/Merle breeding their options will be as follows
Healthy - A quality
Healthy/Sterile - B quality
Blind/Sterile - C quality
Deaf/Sterile - C quality
the more issues the more white these babies will have on them
