Secundi

Now, just to be clear:
- All your old dogs are just fine, nothing is going to happen to them.
- You can still trade and breed them (if we haven't shut things down temporarily).
- There are some rules about certain males being shown on PonyIsland, but those are their rules, and not ours. Our account expires soon and then we're done there.
- Once you acquire a dog from us, it has the same limited term of use no matter where you get it, PI, our forum, or Secundi. You can show them anywhere on the internet so long as you don't claim them to be your artwork - we don't rehome if you haven't been active blah blah etc.
- Until/unless we work something else out, all procedures set up on the forum will continue, sans the pg fees. Secund fees aren't in place yet because we haven't decided on them yet.
- Since four of our team are part of the Secundi admin, we are busy working on the site at large. We'll try not to overwork ourselves, but you know how things usually go.
- Unless otherwise stated, dogs will not go into the Secundi system. Later there may be events for Secundian dogs.

This looks like a good spot.  *plunks*   Imports are now open for business!

You may purchase a Kennel import item by going to the main Secundi site, click on Agencies, click on the Kennel, and then click on the Kennel's Store link.

One import item lets you import one old world Kennel dog into Secundi.

Some things of note:  Kennel dogs imported will loose their certs here on Secundi.  (The old certed images will be moved to a "Secundi" owner folder in the Kennel Gallery.)  This means all ribbons, banners, special edits done later to the dog, and champ packs will disappear from the dog.   If you especially want to keep a record of those for an imported dog, I suggest you save to your computer the certed file, which you may display in the dog's display here on Secundi if you like.  Champ packs equipped to dogs can be returned to your owner folder if you prefer.

Currently I (Silvanon) only have the dog images themselves, so for dogs with equipped champ packs, you have three choices:  

1. Let the champ pack disappear
2. Have that exact champ pack returned to your owner folder later by a worker who has the file for it
3. Request a standard champ pack be put in your owner folder to replace the one equipped to your dog (please specific which standard you want)

To use an import item you've purchased, post in this thread with the following form:

So PI still decided that the male linearts for The Kennel were "inappropriate"?   That is just lame.   True, they were not shrunken down like the examples they posted, but they were simply anatomically proportionate.   Not even detailed!   I do not understand their ruling on your adoptables, and I am sorry it came to this for you guys.

I don't own any Kennel adopts, but I think they are very nice and never, ever would I consider them over a PG rating.

Honestly, Maddie is the most gorgeous Yorkie I've ever seen at TheKennel.
I always desired a certain Yorkie out there, but when I saw Maddie..
I really can't explain how happy I am with my customs, they really are perfect.

And she was meant to have Shih Tzu markings too ^^
Now she's kinda like a Biewer Yorkie, but with Shih Tzu coloring =3

I SO wish I could buy some customs :(  Sadly I am a poor college student. :P  No monies for me means no kennel either.  Oh well... maybe next time around :)

With all the free events we do, the few customs that Garney holds so that she can pay her bills are so minuscule it really hurts us when people complain about not being able to get them. All the complaining makes us not want to run any free events, because honestly we do so many more free events then other adoptables it's insane. We are not like other adoptables where we charge over $50 for one custom, or where the only way to get anything other then a premade is with real money. All this complaining is making us feel very bad.

Kat - if you had been the only person to comment on not being able to pay for customs it might not have affected me as much. I no longer get any USD from coloring dogs, and I too am a horribly broke college student. I only work about 15-25 hours a week on minimum wage, and I go to art school where supplies cost at minimum $700 a term. That is $700 every 11 weeks. So I feel your pain, but I don't go into threads and talk about how much I wish I could buy USD customs. I just wait until there are free events or events for currency I can use.

Let me put this out there folks.  The Buy Pet feature is up and working.  I'm working on the Bid feature right now.  It will be up and working before the end of the night.  If you want to do trading around of won critters, do it via the automated features rather than giving poor Taru a headache.  ;)

I think SplitX should take home that lovely sammy. She already has a handsome mate waiting for it *listens- hears excited whimpering from the male* See? Also, Splitty is a sweetheart who isn't feeling well and could use a pick-me-up!

Chemmie would love the Sammie as she just adores the little puff balls.  He is a stunning color and I can already see her breeding plots for him.  He would of course win lots of ribbons because he such a charmer and such demanding character for attention.  In real life I could see him as one of those dogs that just immediately rolls over on to his stomach for a belly rub.  And who could resist with those warm brown eyes?  No I and defiantly not Chemmie.

Red_uni387 (aka Red) definitely deserves the Samoyed.  Not only is red one of the nicest people I've met on the internet in a long while, but she's really easy to talk to about anything really.  She is kind to everyone, loves to chatter, and is great at being random.  Logging on and seeing her on the forums always makes me smile cause I know that I'll have someone to talk to and hang out with.  Overall red is just a great person, and I just know it would make her day if she won that Samoyed! ^^

I'm not trying for a friend in the sense of the word but my sister. Okami doesn't really have the patience to sit around for events I give her a hand every now and then, she's pretty restless she kicks her legs all the time whilst sitting. So why try for my sister? Well she cares for my pets, and pretty soon she'll be doing a whole lot more, Mutt's leaving home in the near future and I don't know where, it's likely that I'll be a fair way from home... I still haven't been able to tell her.

Splitty needs that Sammy because she's beyond awesome. Whenever I come on and see her, it just makes me happier. When my mom cut me off from PI, she was the only one who PMed me asking to not leave. Every thread I visit, she always pops in there with her cute little avie and makes me smile. I don't remember how we first met, but it seems like so long ago even though it's not. I luffs Splitty very much, and she should have this doggy to make her happier, just like how she always makes me happy.

I think that WillowDragon should get the Elkhound :) She is always a total sweetheart and never fails to get me out of a coloring pickle XD She is also a superb artist who deserves to get somebody else's beautiful artwork tossed her way, once in a while. And looking through her owner folder, it looks like she has quite a few different sled dog breeds, but no Elkhounds yet.

I think the Elkhound would make a lovely companion for CutieePiee.  She has been a great friend on PI for years and I am sure will be a great friend to me on Secundi as well, for years to come.  She has a very great nature that is caring, compassionate and extrememly selfless, and doesn't seem to notice when I get cranky in some of my threads.  I think she would really enjoy the elkhound and would use her the way she shoud be used, as a secudni pet to train and love, she also welcomes many breeds into her kennel, not just specific ones.  That is why I think she should get her.

I think Rosewood needs a nice surpise, and the NSDTR girl would be perfect.  She's been being good and not causing mom and I much trouble lately.  She's also been being really active with her church, and their charity events, which has cut into her online time rather a lot.  I'd love to be able to get her this girl as a gift, I think she's earned a nice suprise.  And since she has been admiring and drooling over my NSDTR's, this girl really would be perfect.


Note: Rosewood is my sister, but also a friend.  I hope that still counts.

Lol yea, I had to find a word counter to use.  I kept trying to manually count and kept losing my place.  Everythign just kept blurirng together.  After this I'm going to take some motrin.

I believe Kadana deserves the NSTDR. On PI, she has ALWAYS been a great friend, and she was picking the NSTDR girl in the 'guess the dog' games! :) I know this is short, but I really do believe she would care for the NSTDR very well & be very happy with her.

I think that silvanon would like the NSDTR since she works so hard on the forums and doesn't get to play many games with us.

Dasher is fine.  Chopin.. everything looks ok, but I can't be 100% certain.  Only because I don't know his pedigree (if he has offspring or not, I forgot to ask)  I'll try and remember to get ahold of the person I got him form tomorrow and ask.  But everything else for him is fine :)

Are we allowed to import uncerted dogs?  I have a girl I got in the find a mate thread, she hasn't been certed yet (and hasn't been placed in my folder yet) so not sure if I'm able to import her.

I really love these two :D  I almost brought in my jack russel pair but I decided to wait to bring them in.

SplitX - The only thing I have access to is what's currently up in the item standards folder in the owners gallery.  The purpose of allowing Standard substitutions is so that people can get their champ packs back right away.  If you're not going to pick one of those, and you're not willing to have the pack disappear, then you will get the one currently equipped to your dog back in your inventory, as soon as one of the workers who has access to the file has time to pull it and upload it to your inventory.

In other news, after 7 long weeks the warrenty persons finally returned our laptop!  Yay!  In not so great news, they ended up installing a new hard drive, so we lost all the programs and files that had been on the computer previously.  So, it'll be a few days still as I work on reinstalling everything, etc. before I'm up to speed on coloring & such.

Aww, that stinks, Silv.  But at least you finally got it back!
