Ok, so I had these in haitus on PI because .. well.. it was PI. Time to wake the kittlings up and let them come and play. There are 28 different poses of kittling. They will be breedable and tradable. Credits are on the cert.
First off, To let you know what to expect, Im showing 3 at full size. Also note, every single kitty in the banner above will find a home in *this* thread! So if you see one you like, prepare to stalk for it!
Secondly, Im asking people to help me come up with things to do to make it fun for these to find new homes. Im looking for at least 3 free and 3 paid events that are original and fun. If you make a suggestion I use, you'll be getting a free custom kitty.
Finally, we will have some of those events here in the thread :)
Then, Im going to go eat those yummy yummy spare ribs I made for dinner. When I get back, if theres a great idea for an event, Ill start it. If not, we will possibly do a franken.

no the actual lines are by aerius_the_aireon from DA. Its on the cert, but its small on the bottom. Aerius did the lines as a template for people to make warrior cats for his RP forum, but then forum died. He didnt want the lines to go to waste, so here they are :) I did the shading and everything else though.
Oh and Kadana, dont worry, I can do calico patterning without a brush hehe.

I have lots of event game ideas, but the thing is, I have them planned for my own shop (if I can ever get what I need done to start it up here!) So not sure aboug posting them.
But.. being as it is october, with halloween coming, how about a game of trick or treat? Or apple Bobbing? Both are games I want to run in my shop, but if you don;t care, then hey, they're fun lol

Kadana knocks on a door- and a ghost comes flying down to scare her and make her drop 3 candy.. but she has none to drop! Up on the roof she spies a kittling giggling and holding the ghosts rope before it dashes away.

Ryuukokoro knocks on the door of a house with cobwebs all over the lawn. Even pink flamingos in the yard have cobwebs. A sweet little old lady with blue-grey hair answers, and gives 3 bits of candy.
Kadana knocks on the door of a house who's lights are all off. Inside can be heard the laughter of what sounds like a bunch of teenagers. Expecting another trick, she bravely stands with her candy bag ready. To her suprise, the kids offer her 2 bits of candy, if she promises not to tell they are having a party.

sera sees a house with all the lights on. It's a very nice house, stonework and manicured lawn. Not to spoil thier pretty home, there are only a few moderate decorations up. From the front porch, a jackolantern laughs with mechanical sound. Hoping for the best, sera opens the gate and starts up the cobbled path. Right when she reaches the middle of the path, she hears a catlike snicker. Before she can turn and run, the sprinklers come on, drenching her in an instant. Dropping her candy bag, she runs off. Fortunatly, the night is early, and her bag was already empty.

Midnight Phantom creeps up to an old house, toilet paper hidden behind the back. Knocking on the door, hollering trick or treat, all in good fun. However, in the spirit of the old holiday, if there was no candy, Phantom fully intended to pull a prank.
However, while standing at the door, knocking, a glimpse of fur is seen from above. 5 double rolls of toilet paper fall from above, wrapping Phantom up! A kittlings dashes up to steal the candy bag, then sees it is already empty and sulks away.

Ok, since most of us are female, Im just going to be using "she" until someone tells me otherwise. Ill probly still use "she" after Im told otherwise because it's habit. If you're a "he" please dont take offence :)
Dragonspyrit walks boldly up to a house, not frightened at all of all the maniquins in coffins all over the yard. Noticing something wired into the doorbell, and proud of herself for not falling for the trick, she knocks on the door. Just then, one of the coffins on the porch bursts open, and a kittling comes screaming out. But Dragonspyrit has no candy to drop!
sera walks up to a mostly dark house. The porch light is on, so she dries the last bit of wet from her hair and knocks. Not realizing how the water has made her Haloween makeup run, she is suprised when the 12 year old girl who answers the door stares at her and screams. Her older brother comes to see what the ruckus is all about. Laughing and glad that you scared his sister, he hands you 5 bits of candy!
Ryuukokoro knocks on the next door, ready for anything. Standing on the porch, she sees a furry spider prop above her on a string. Smirking, she sidesteps it as it drops in front of her and shakes and makes noise. Then it gets pulled back up and reset for the next person. The door is answered, and an old man with no teeth drops a huge apple into Ryu's candy bag. Unfortunatly, she doesnt notice the apple caused a rip until after she lost 1 bit of candy, and goes to repair the bag.
Kadana is walking down the sidewalk, heading for the next house, when a very tall man in a trenchcoat stops her at knifepoint!! In a low, rumbling voice, he demands she hands over all her candy, or he will attack her! Frightened, Kadana fumbles out only 1 bits of candy and hands them over. Instead of a gloved hand like that holding the knife, a furry little paw reaches out from the trenchcoat and snags the candy. Then, the whole trenchcoat teeters back and forth and falls. 5 kittlings burst from under the cloth, and run in different directions. Kadana notices now, too late, that the knife was fake.
*gasp* I missed springacres! Im so sorry!
springacres got out the door a bit later than planned, making sure her costume was just right. It took several hours to get the makeup and hair perfect. Walking up to the first house of the night, she looks over her shoulder at all the others out walking and laughing with full candy bags. The door opens, and a very young boy in a cowboy costume peers up at her, holding a bowl of candy almost too big for him to hold.
"Nana says I can only give 1 per person." He says, struggingling to hold up the bowl for you to pick one.

Just so everyone knows how Im doing this. Its heads or tails flip to decide if you get a trick or treat. Then I use a dice to determine if you gain/lose 1-5 candys. After I have the stats, I try to make a little story that fits. It looks like its going to be hard to hold on to the candy you do get this year with all those kittlings around causing trouble!
Actually Ive decided, to give people a chance to hold on to candy, a trick only takes away 1! Im editing totals to reflect that.

sera walks up to the same house springacres was just at. A kittling leaps out and tries to tag springacres, but she turned to go too fast. Instead, the kittling accidently ends up tripping sera.
Kadana walks down the sidewalk, heading for the next house, when she hears something coming from a hedgerow. At first, it sounds like kittlings, and she is ready to turn away. Listening a bit closer for a moment, she realizes its someone crying. I little boy in a bear costume is sitting under the hedge, crying his dear eyes out. He tells her a kittycat scared him and he got seperated from his friends. Kadana takes him by the hand and helps him find his pals, who arent hard to find because they are franticly searching for him. In gratitude, they give her 5 bits of candy.

brvrose walks carefully up to a house, keepsing a wary eye out for skeletons. Her vigil doesnt pay off, however, as it has her completely distracted from the trip line acrost the sidewalk. As she walks, she hits the line, which is tied one end around a tree, and the other end to a garbage can full of jello. Just as the kittlings planned, jello dumps all over the sidewalk under her feet, causing her to land *plop* on her hiney. The kittlings dart towards the helpless rose, but there is no candy in the bag to steal.

Dragonspyrit heads towards the next house, ready for anything. Arriving at the front door, a small squeaking sound is heard. Prepared for anything, she bravely knocks. Behind her, a small rasping noise, and suddenly a swarm of bats comes flying up around her. The kittling who had opened the container they were trapped in snickers and dashes up, sticking a paw in the candy bag looking for a goody.
Ryuukokoro knocks on a door, prepared for the worst. Monsters, spooks, or waterworks. To her suprise, right as she knocks, a giant floodlight turns on and shines right in her face. Sheilding her face with her arm, she looks around, trying to spot the danger. Too bad the ninja-kittling already made off with a bit of candy!
Midnight Phantom tries her luck at another house. Knocking on the door, there is no answer. The porch light is on, and she can see figures moving inside. So, she knocks again, a bit louder this time. Still no answer. A bit confused, she looks at shadows behind the curtains, and reaches out for the doorbell. As soon as she touches it, a jolt of electricity runs through her, and she is paralized for a moment. Little paws dig around in the candy bag while she cant move.

Ya know, Im gonna run out of story ideas if I keep this running until the end of the month lol.
Kadana walks up to her first house of the night. She notices strange contraptions, gears and rails and corkscrews. A bit confused, she rings the doorbell. When she does, a frail old voice calls from inside "be right there" but the voice doesnt cover the sound of a marble rolling along the rails. Fascinated, Kadana watches as the marble sets off chain reactions in the contraption. In the end. it gets stuck on a rail, and nothing more happens. The door finally opens, and an old woman hands her 4 bits of candy.
Ryuukokoro sees Kadana get lucky, and heads for the same house. Once again, the voice calls "just a minute" and the marble starts rolling. Watching it race along the rails, Ryu is a little bit nervouse. This whole thing looks strangly familiar. Just as her mind places where she's seen it before, a net falls from the eaves and catches her. Mouse trap. Ryu is the mouse.
sera just happens to be close enough to see Ryu get caught in the net. Unable to control herself, she falls down laughing. Unfortunately, the kittling that just stole Ryu's last bit was still close enough, and sees the helpless sera. It cant resist lifting a bit from her too.
Ryuukokoro finally gets out of the netting and heads on to try again. While walking to the next house, she spots a frog hopping along the sidewalk. A little boy has the frog on a leash. He begs ryu to kiss the frog, claiming it is a princess under a spell. Wondering why she would want to kiss a princess, even if it wasnt just a frog, ryu moves on.
Kadana is right behind her, and comes acrost the little boy and frog next. The boy once again begs for a kiss for his poor transformed princess. Kadana is not sure how she feels about kissing a princess, but she isnt afraid of frogs, and decides it would be fun to freak out the boy by actually kissing it. Sure enough, no magical transformations happen when her lips meet green skin. The little boy, however, is absolutely amazed that she would kiss a frog, and hands her 5 bits of candy in respect.
springacres knocks on her next door. A little girl dressed as Dorothy, complete with ruby slippers, opens the door. Standing behind her are a grown woman, most likely her mother, dressed as Glenda, and a teenage girl, dressed as the wicked witch. springacres compliments them on thier matching costumes, and a smiling girl gives her 4 bits of candy.

"sorry about that" he says, handing sera a bit of candy.

Guys, go ahead and keep posting trick or treats. I will catch them all up when I get back online. My ferret is missing and I cant focus on anything else but the panic of having a loved one possible scared or hurt or worse. It wont disrupt the thread, since it was set to be a long one anyway, Ill pick up where I left off and nothing will change.

And a thought, have you tried calling the local animal shelters and pounds? If not, you may want to do so, even if they don't have the still missing baby at the moment, if you let them know she is still missing then they can keep their ears open, and know who to contact if she gets turned in there.
done that, put her cage outside to attract her home, posted flyers, talked to all neighbors in nearly 9 blocks, posted craigslist, scoured the area with her favorite noisy toy hoping she'd hear, called vets and shelters, even have the UPS man, mailman, and local furnace man keeping an eye out. Her brother was found and returned safely (my roommate's ferret) but not mine.
I've also had a ferret go missing on me. She ended up hiding very close to the house (or under it, to be more precise) so if you have a garden or any hideaways anywhere near your house I suggest a safe squirrel trap or two near those areas. I hope you find her!
No worries, indigo, I understand completely. Heck, I worry every time my sister's cat gets loose, and he's never failed to come back within a few hours. Take all the time you need. *sends hugs and prayers*
That's true, maybe you can call your local wild animal patrol and they can let you use one of their humane traps? The ones where you put food at one end and when the animal walks in to get the food, the door comes down so they're trapped? Then maybe put ferret food in there and put it near where the other ferret was found.
*fluffs* It's good that one of them has been found; i'm still hopeful that your girl will show up, too!

ok, time to try to come up with some stories again :)
springacres comes upon a trailor with its lights on. Thinking "why not" she goes and knocks on the door. When the woman inside, with her mumu and curlers, opens the door with a full bowl of candy in hand, a soft *click* is heard. Suddenly, a bunch of spring loaded cloth snakes bounce up from under the welcome mat. She woman shrieks, and her candy goes flying everywhere! Kittlings dash in from every side to clean up the fallen bits. One manages to slip a paw in springacres bag as well.
sera knocks on a door to a tiny white house with pink trim. A dog starts to bark and snarl from inside. She hears a mans voice, cursing and telling the dog to shaddup. He then opens the door. He is a heavy man, wearing sweatpants and a white tank top, both liberally stained with his last several meals. He holds a cigar between his teeth, and is holding the collar to a large dog who is straining and barking in an agressive manner. A little worried, sera realizes the dog is chasing off a kittling who had been sneaking up behind her! The man gives her 1 bit of candy from his bucket, and she is happy to move on.
Ember heads up to the same door sera just knocked on. She and sera smile at eachother in passing. The man hasnt closed his door yet, and the dog is still barking its head off. He loses grip on the collar, and the dog charges down the walkway. The kittling sneaking up behind Ember lets out a yowl and dashes away. Unfortunately, the dog plows right through ember after it, and manages to knock her down. She loses 1 bit of candy in the chaos.
Ryuukokoro finds 1 bit of candy. That was boring!
Midnight Phantom stops to take a break, her legs getting tired from traveling from house to house. Seeing a park bench, she sinks down on it, and indulges herself in some hot chocolate from the mug she was smart enough to bring with her. She even has some marshmallows in a ziplock bag to add to it! After warming up and resting, she stands to find the next house. Taking her first step, she ends up nose first on the sidewalk. Looking down, she sees her shoelaces are tied together! As she tries to get up, a kittling steals a bit of candy.
Fean77 sees what looks like a cave gate decorated into a house. The house owners have gone all out, putting material over the front of thier house to make the whole thing look like a giant cave, with plastic bats on strings flying around the yard. Lifting the brass knocker, he hears the knock reverberate through the house. A thin person with black skin and white hair, and violet colored contacts, wearing a soft grey cloak and a broach of a feather opens the door. He immediatly kneels and says "Vendui!" to which the woman smiles, and hands him 3 bits of candy.
Dragonspyrit walks along the sidewalk to the next house, when she hears a rucus behind her. There is a hissing and yowling noise coming from behind a bush. Fearing the worst, she steps around the bush, to startle 2 kittlings who were having an arguement. Both kittlings dash off in different directions, leaving her to gather up the 5 bits of candy they had been fighting over.

Kadana is walking up the sidewalk and trips over a crack in the sidewalk. Not a prank or anything, just simple clumsiness! But, as she lays there on the cold sidewalk feeling silly, she spies a tiny bag. It looks just the right size to have been carried by a kittling. Could they have dropped it? Opening it up, she finds 4 bits of candy. So, clumsiness pays off!

I've never really done much of this kind of thing, but my uncle was always doing stuff like this. He got all kinds of nifty things form gag shops.
He'd get fake ice cubes, with various insects inside them. Yer sposed to drop them in folks drinks. At a glance, they are meant to look real. Not good enough for him, so he wets them and freezes them, makes them really look real.. and feel real when you go fishing it out of yer drink heh
I'd say more of his hijinks, but they are rather.. nasty, uncle isn't a nice man -.-
Then again, neither am I I guess. I do seem to recall buying itching/stinging powder, and coating the insides of all of a certain someones boxer shorts with the stuff, not to mention slipping into his bathroom and sprinkling it on/inside his roll of toilet paper. He made me mad -.-
And, I once bought ciggerette inserts. They are little stick things, you put them inside the cigg form the open end. They just.. slide right in. Sposed to stink really bad when burned, and taste awful. I wasn't trying to be mean then though, just trying to get mom to stop smoking. ..didn;t work heh

Prank Idea
I played this on my two brothers when I was younger. :3
First I started telling them I heard strange noises coming from the basement. We used to play down there but it was full of boxes and boxes of old stuff stacked all over the place. Anyway I had a wild imagination back then so I liked making things up, so I started telling them I heard things when I was down there alone. Like things moving around.
The next day or so, they had a friend over and they were being annoying boys, so I wanted to get away from them. So I went down to the basement. I was looking through the old boxes of stuff just for curiosity sake. Then I heard all three of them, my brothers and their friend, tromping down the stairs.
Quickly I crouched in the corner behind a stack of boxes, and noticed there was a jar of pennies at my feet. That's when I got a wicked idea!
I silently picked up a penny and threw it across the room, at an old refridgertor. It made a hollow ping noise that was kinda creepy. My brothers and their friend went totally silent. After a while I threw another penny. The noise rang out again, and they started talking to each other, asking what it could be. I heard them say my name so I knew they were telling their friend about the stuff I said before.
Then I threw three pennies at once and it made a much louder more echoing pinging noise, and all three of them decided to book it up the stairs like their lives depended on it! XD
Im wondering if its something to do with permissions, since kennel gallery allows linking.

Hmm only 2 entries for the prank. Ryuukokoro and Kadana, do you guys have a preference for who gets the kittling premade and who gets a custom? If you both want the same thing Ill let random.org decide like I originally intended.
Kadana stops at a bench to poke through her candy bag and see what she's got so far. Hmm skittles, sucker, lollypop, snickers... she is lost in her bag and barely notices whats going on around her. A noise makes her look up. Standing in front of her is a man in a long white tunic with long hair and a beard. He wears leather sandles on his feet, and has a dead wreath on his head. He smiles at her, saying "You have favor today" and hands her 4 bits of candy.
ember wonders at Kadana's luck. Thinking over the events of the night so far, she gets a plan. Walking off the beaten path, she comes to a small pond. She listens for a moment, then finds what she is looking for. Grabbing the tiny frog, she plants a kiss on it. The frog begins to glow and sparkle, and transforms into 5 bits of candy. Not what she expected, but she wont complain!
sera walks down the sidewalk to the next house when she sees 2 shadowy figures darting towards her on either side of the sidewalk. Worried at first, she notices they will pass right by her if she doesnt move. As they run past her, continuing down the sidewalk on either side, she breathes a sigh of relie--falls on her face. Appearantly the kittlings were holding a thin rope between them, and perfectly executed their trip manauver. sera loses 1 bit.
feany-pie-head walks past a small store who's doors are wide open. It looks like some sort of public party is going on, so he pokes his head in to see. After a couple minutes of "sampling" the free food and punch, he hears an announcer talking on a mic. To his suprise, he hears himself mentioned, and called up to the front. They tell him he has won the costume contest, that his rainbow mohawk, combat boots, and trench coat were the best costume of the night. Confused, he tries to explain that this is how he always dresses. Not listening, they award him with 4 bits of candy.
Ryu knocks on a door and a woman in a mini skirt and a tank top opens the door. Only problem is, the woman is about 5 sizes too large for her clothes. She has bright red high heel boots on, and a feather boa. Glitter and colored hairspray complete her "80's trash" costume. She drops a sticky carmel popcorn ball into Ryu's bag. Not wanting to seem rude, Ryu waits until she is out of sight of the house to throw the nasty gooey thing away. Unfortunately, a bit of candy is stuck along with the lint on the unwrapped ball, and must be thrown away as well.
springacres hears a commotion from the party, and heads in to see what it's all about. People stare in awe at her costume. Its not everyday you see someone walking on stilts to pull of Lurch from Adams Family! They tell her they are sorry, the contest is already over, but give her 2 bits of candy as a consolation prize.
Kadana, stunned, still sits on her bench. Wondering what she did to earn the favor of the gods (we all wonder Kadana, we all wonder *stares at dice*) she is even more shocked as another 3 bits of candy magically materialize on her lap!
sera knocks on a door. A small child, dressed as Darth Vader, answers. "whadya want?" the kid asks. Just then, an adult from the other room starts screaming "catch it, catch it!" A small parakeet flies out the open door and lands on sera's shoulder, picking at bits of her costume. She carefully grabs the bird and hands it back. The grateful owners hand her 5 bits of candy as a reward.
Midnight Phantom walks along the path to a house set far off the road. Its long enough that the streetlights dont reach the porch. In the near complete darkness, she hears a scratching sound to her right. Tired of being tricked, she reaches out her hand and blindly grabs for the sound. To her suprise, she grabs ahold of a kittling just as it was about to pounce on her! As a bribe to be let go, it gives her 4 bits of candy.

"Well, yes," Fred said in surprise. "If you didn't know him, they wouldn't let you out there."

I know, that it isn't perhaps what you were thinking of. But well, ghosts and goblins and vampires and werewolves don't really scare me. Ok, so zombies do, I have an irrational fear of dead things. But those are just disgusting as well.. And well too, when I try and think if the scariest thing, the one thing that terrifies me beyond all else, it's this. I'm told I obsess over the idea of nuclear war way too much. I'm told to just not think about it. Why worry over something that may not happen? All sound advise I suppose, but I seem to be unable to follow it. I have nightmare about nuclear war coming to happen. Have ever since I knew what it was heh so, that is my entry.

Like Kadana, 'scary' creatures don't generally scare me. Ironically enough zombies also scare me but only in films or if someone acts like one. XD For the most part I'm only scared of things that randomly pop out at me and this image can't do that but oh well.

oh my lord sera, that is frightening LOL. I actually thought of the game after seeing a picture of masses of snakes. Im not personally afraid of snakes, especially since they were the non-threatening garter snakes, but I could just imagine anyone with a phobia having a heart attack over the pic.

Vet fee to get your pets checked before a responsable breeding, but the vet fee can be pre "paid" as a coupon. "paid" is in quotes because you may purchase one, or win/trade one.
I **love** the idea of it being a stick that allows them to sneak off to the ally. I think I will allow people to purchase a stick during mating season. Never ever will I give one against someone's will. Any kittling who's owner has a stick and who is not already in a planned breeding may sneak outside, male or female will also be random. Maybe none sneak out, maybe they all do. The only way you know for sure is if someone gets preggers.
Any time a female gets preggers after escaping with a stick, she gets moody some random day and chews the stick up (aka, it will be in your inventory until you have a breeding, then it goes away).

So, the breeding imagery works like this.. all kittling females go into heat during the same time. Some owners choose to get thier angels checked at the vet to make sure they are fit enough to breed. Every female that plans to breed gets a checkup.
(Dont worry, the vet will never say you arent healthy enough, its just for fun. Also, saying the vet works so many hours a day gives me a realistic way to cap how many I need to do in 1 breeding season.)
Once your checkup has been paid for, owners may arrange breedings, either with thier own males, or by finding other males who are available. Male owners *are* allowed to charge a stud fee if they wish.
After a certain time of pregnancy (determined by how long it takes me to color) babies are born to the mother! I dont have baby lines, sorry, you get full growns.
If the male's owner also decides to take thier male to the vet for a checkup, the breeding will produce twins, due to having both parents in peak condition at the time of the breeding.

The day after breeding forms are done being accepted, females who didnt get bred begin to gather and howl in the ally, calling out males to come join them. The only way kittlings can get out is by propping open a window with a stick. Sticks will *never* be given out randomly. If you have a stick, your kittlings may use it at any breeding season, so be aware, having a stick is basically giving permission for me to randomly breed them!

Kittling Cousins are a bit more difficult. They can also sneak outside using sticks, but it will be more rare for them to find a mate also wandering about. Taking a cousin to the vet requires a special "exotic animals" vet (or a coupon to one).

I think Im allowed to say this, since its not as paranoid as PI.. in Germany, Jagermeister is a cough syrup. Mixed with some red bull, it not only takes away your cough.. it makes you forget youre sick..
At the very worst, on my birthday, at karaoke.. Ill have a lot of shots bought for me.. no matter how sick I get, Ill still be able to sing.
I dont feel too horrible yet. May in the next few days, but right now its all in my throat. Its still my babies Im worried about.
I hope they (and you) get well soon. but yea, I'd be worried about them as well. I knew cats could pass illness back and forth between them and humans, never knew ferrets could. I remember my Sebastian and i were always sick together though, I hated it. He was so darn small and weak, scared the heck out of me :S

thanks sweety. I spent it sleeping, probly have a couple more days of that before I start feeling better. Everytime I think my fever is broken, it comes back a couple hours later.. I think about the same time the last round of meds starts to wear off :(
that sadly sounds typical of meds. I usually end up taking mine early. Like if it says take every 6 hours, and I notice it wears off before 6 hours is up, I'll take it half hour to an hour early. SO usually I end up taking mine every 5 hours or so instead of the 6 it says. Then by the time the previous dose wears off, the next one is allready kicking in.
I'd check with your mom or doctor first though, depending on what meds you're on. *hugs* hope you feel betetr soon, and happy belated bday. I'm sorry you didn;t get to enjoy it.
well I turned 33 yesterday, so I wont be checking with mom :P they were OTC meds anyway. *but* today I woke up without feeling dead! Im still stuffy and still have a scratchy throat, but the fever is gone for the moment. I actually feel like I can open my eyes without having the light burn a hole in my brain :)
Sooo... Ill be spending the next half hour or so naming the poor kittlings. They are getting tired of being called "name" here name, good name, name want some catnip?
