These adorable sad-eyed lines come from Chemical_child. Racoons are the first to come forth and use tears to make friends with humans, but more should be following.
Cry Babies are a bunch of creatures from a land where only the popular animals get homes. Horses and wolves and dragons all seem to find humans to love them, no problem. But these poor little fellas are having a hard time competing. Every day, they watch new humans come into thier forests, with thier pockets stuffed full of treats, and sweet words on thier lips. Every day, they watch these humans walk right past them, seeking another type of creature.
One day, after being rejected yet again, a baby began to cry. Big eyes watered, and a little lip quivvered. It sat slumped at the edge of a clearing, whimpering to itself. Almost instantly, humans flocked to surround it. "Aaawwws" and "You poor thing" could be heard far and wide, as humans began to fight for the right to take the little tearfull creature home and love it.
The other creatures, watching this, decided to try the tactic for themselves. Sure enough, it seemed tears were the way to win a human heart. So now, here they stand before you, showing you with thier eyes just how much they would love to come home with you! How can you resist?
