It's about time for contest. There will be four breed competitions and two athletic competitions. Obviously Anmun can only compete in Anmun Breed Show, Landrece in Landrece, and so on. However in the Open Sport Shows any Capranis may enter.
You can enter all the contests if you wish, but you may only enter one Capranis in each. Capranis cannot be in two shows at once. There are unlimited slots for each show.
The only reason only four breeds get breed shows is because there's not enough caprani of other breeds out there.
PrizesFirst:100% probability breeding or a semi custom
Second:50% breeding that does not count towards current or past rounds and if it fails, a 25% breeding bone or small accessory edit.
Third: 25% breeding bone or a small accessory edit for your capranis
You can choose a 'lesser' prize than your current one, if you want. So you can choose the accessory edit if you got second place if you want.

I was wondering that too.
I strolled through the large building where the indoor arenas were located and the crowd was already milling, consisting of people of various types and their Caprani companions. I tried to keep my wandering eyes in check and pay attention to what I was doing, but I couldn't help my eyes darting this way and that, and my neck craning every time a lovely marked Caprani trotted by. So much to see and so much to do!
I was proud of my own group for staying close to my heels as I wove my way through the crowd, finally finding the registration tables. Sol took the opportunity to sniff the lady as she extended her hand and passed me the proper forms to fill, and she obliged him by scratching behind his horns while I filled out the proper information.
I squinted through the glasses perched on the end of my muzzle and checked and double checked to make sure my information was correct. Our first competition! Half nerves and half excitement filled me. I just hope I did things right for my Caprani.

sera: Yes they do. The difference between a great and good is an extra number. Temperament's stats are also taken into consideration with either conformation or athletics. I'm tweaking the showing, so there may be greater number differences between stats. At least that's how I'm feeling right now.
Oh, and I have a question, if I made a general thread in like the notary office where people could post their Caprani that are available for stud/rb, and indexed on the fist post for easy access, would that be helpful?

As my agile Eski girl crossed the finish line like a blue streak for the last sport event, I whipped my head to the score board and held my breath. Seconds ticked past and then her time appeared, and my heart sank. She had done well, but not better than the others in the event. She wouldn't place.
"S'okay girl, good show," I told the panting Capranis, patting her back and ruffling the patterened blue fur of her sides. We walked off the floor and I led her out back, where the contestants waited for their turn in the spotlight.
I was in high spirits, despite the results of the most recent event. My Caprani had taken home two ribbons: a 2nd Place for the somber but graceful Landrece, Fearless. And a totally unexpected 1st Place ribbon for Sol, the odd-man-out in my winter-rugged Kennel. Sol might have been an Anmun, but I didn't know any Caprani with more high spirits or heart.
"Good show guys, very good show," I congratulated them, handing out affectionate pets and ear scratches. I couldn't keep a grin off my muzzle. We were going home winners.

I wanted to pick something pretty for a more plain Capranis, so I don't cover up all the pretty markings you do. ^_^
That's possible. Winter Song is actually my fave from that litter, I think she'll look great.
Since my item idea wasn't really possible may I do as Ryuu did and if my breeding is unsuccessful then I may go back to staring at the item voucher and trying to come up with something?
Third place is either mutation bone or accessory. Ryuu got a second place win so one of their choices was 50/50 breeding or a third place prize.
As for the accessory, I can give suggestions! I think a detailed 'elvish' silver tail/arm/ear clasp with an opal gem(to match her paws and wings) would look nice on Ballet of the Aurora, for example. Or you can suggest another capranis.

But I do see the clause for 2nd place that had the option to down grade that third doesn't. So ignore me on that one.
Breeding bone and mutation bone are interchangeable. Basically I need to find a consistent name for it because people keep getting confused haha. It's a one time use item during a breeding and gives a higher chance of mutations occurring in the litter.
