Troibs- interest thread

This is to see how many people would be interested in these little guys. Anyone who gives thier opinion this week in this thread will be entered in a raffle to win one of each of our first series Troibs. They are currently in week 1 PI. Week 1 and this thread will be the only way to get a Alpha or Celest series Troib. (unless someone trades you thiers later)

Welcome to Troibs, a highly collectable adoptable by indigowulf.

This one is for all you collectors out there. For everyone who has ever had a case of "gotta get 'em all" fever.

Troibs arent customizable, there will never be a frankentroib. I'll never get rich off charging you for Troib breeding items. What Troibs are, is cute little balls of fluff that purr and make the absolute best snuggle-balls. They can be squished and cuddled all you want, they cannot be hurt by squeezes. In fact, the more you snuggle them tight, the more they purr.

Each Troib run will be a limited edition. Each event will have 1 color version of a Troib. Once the event is over, that version is retired forever. The next series will be a different color. You may collect more then 1 of a single version, and trade it later for anything you may have missed. If Troib collecting becomes popular, the retired intro series could become quite valuable.

You will be able to name your Troib. The dot on the right indicates gender, blue for male and pink for female. Naturally, you can put these in your siggy line. I do ask that, if you have more then 1 copy of a certain Troib and plan to trade them, please only name the ones you will be keeping.

Alpha-
Alpha Troib was the first Troib series ever discovered. At first, nobody was certain if this little guy was friendly or dangerous. His big blue eyes and soft purring quickly won over the hearts of all he met.


Celest-
A bit on the shy side, Celest waited to see how Alpha would do before showing herself and begging for snuggles. Once she makes friends with someone, she can't stand to be too far away.

juuuust in case people like these and want more then 1 chance to get ahold of one this week, here's a little game.

Troib catch:

Now that these two versions of Troib have decided to show themselves and make friends, you get to try to catch one (or several!) for your own.

To catch a Troib, post a creative way that you wish to catch it. You may post once every 3 hours. Each attempt has a small chance to catch your Troib, with the chance improving the more creative I find your trap to be.

*climbs into a tree and hides amongst the leaves, drops some cheese down on the ground under her and waits with a net ready to drop on any passing Troibs*

A little alpha totters along under kadana's tree, but alas, shifting to get the best angle with the net causes a rain of leaves on his poor little head. His happy purrs are interupted with a small squeak as he dashes for cover.

*digs a hole and drops choco bits down into it then lies in wait behind a bush*

*grabs a camera and a sack of food bits, heads off calling softly "here Troib, heeeere Troib.. want your picture taken? hoping to entice one out for a photo and snack, and maybe get it to go home with her*

kadana digs a pit and drops chocolate inside.. then falls asleep behind her bush waiting. Waking up a few hours later, and groggy, she forgets where she is and stumbles into her own hole! Good thing Troibs are small and the hole was only about 2 feet deep.

kadana walks out looking for a Troib to photograph. She sees the most beautiful bird she has ever seen. Figuring it couldnt hurt, she snaps a pic of the bird. The camera makes a sick wirring sound, and the poleroid gets stuck! A little Celest who was on its way to her hears the scary growly noise, and flees!

wow, you are simply having the worst luck! well, its a 25% chance on the die roll to get one, and you're 0 for 3.. maybe next one will be lucky lol.

*gets a couple cup of coffee and sits on the porch, setting a saucer down beside her and pouring a bit of coffee on it.  Maybe a Troib will be thirsty and would like a nice hazlenutty treat..*

lol yea, its fine.  And I do seem to have an advantage over everyone else, as I am getitng to try on both sites *tries not to feel guilty about that*

*sits out her entire untouched dinner for the Troibs to have*  Maybe they will be less.. picky then me :|

*places a sign out in her front yard "Sexy Vampire Cop Show This Way" with an arrow pointing to her front door.  Slips off inside to watch Forever Knight, leaving the door cracked open a lil bit*

ookay, rolled 4 more times, this time all but 1 were success!

so, you have yourself 2 more alphas and 1 more celest coming to your owner folder.

Ill lock this thread on the 24th, as that coincides with PI's week 1, and this series (alpha and celest) will never be available again, outside of trading.

Dont think they will come live on secundi, because theres a lack of interest here.
