Forgive me for sounding stupid, this question has probably been asked before, but I'm really bad at searching forums, so I ask again.... But...
What is the point and purpose of buying property and having real estate?
As far as I can tell, its more or less just a bit of a SG sink, when you've got a lot, buy real estate and get property to sink some of the funds away...
Or does it have a higher purpose somehow?
You need to have a certain amount of property for each of the different homes you can get. Bigger homes require more land to put them on. Right now the homes don't do much, but I'm working on a new section of the site that will let you decorate your home. How much space you get to decorate in will depend on how big a home you have.
So, it does nothing now, but in future, will do something??
Yup, that's right.
I wouldn't say it 'does nothing' right now, Laney. It's just that it hasn't been explored to its full potential yet. It took a LOT of coding and drawing for Sil to get that part of the site to where it is right now, and I know Kadana and some others are having a lot of fun collecting Artifacts to use in the Refinery and to start building their homes/properties. ^_^
yup yup! Even made "extra" accounts so I can have more then one home! Of course as soon as I did that, I started having trouble finding time to do adventuring lol
