Okay so This has been on my mind for a bit and its just a silly question but I think it might help others that are looking to start a new adoptable.

When should you post information about your adoptable?

a) When you have all the lines done
b)A little before you have the lines done so people can read over the information
c) Other

Like i said its probably a silly question but it might help future adoptable runners ^_^

I personally think it's best to only post information when you have all the lines done. Unless you're still working on the lines and looking for peoples' input.

I just think it's good to have everything ready when you introduce a new adoptie so that you can get going straight away. :)

I dislike waiting, so I'd say when the lines are ready.  Unless like Leet said, you are seeking imput on the line creation..

I can understand from the adoptable owners side of things, wanting to make sure a user base will be interested in something before you dump loads of time/money into creating/commissioning lines, but from the side of the consumer looking to stalk the adoptable..  I have too many times got excited for a new adoptable, only to never ever see it come to reality.    There are always reasons of course, but the reasons, however understandable, don't make my disappointment any less.  So personally I prefer the adoptable lines be ready before I'm told about them, or at least some of them be ready.  Like if you have multiple breeds/species, maybe you don;t have all 20 dog breeds ready right now, but you have one or two complete, I'd be happy to stalk the parts that are complete and ready to go while waiting/looking forward to the rest being finished.

I think once they're nearly ready, so if you're sure that they wil be finished soon (eg. you're doing them yourself, have the sketches done and are pretty sure you'll get lines and shading done soon) then that's fine. But if there's a chance of them not being finished or a big delay then i'd say wait till they're done. Especially on a small website like this i'd say everyone will check out any new adopts they see anyway so it's not as important to get a fan base first.
