Congrats! I saw them, I've been drooling over that boy a lot. I love his coat.
So do I. This is the picture he was based on:

Now if only I could dream of affording one in real life...
I know what you mean. I miss my dogs. Housing won't let me have "real" dogs here though. They only allow animals 20 pounds or less :S Don;t get me wrong, I like the small/tiny breeds. But not to own, not too much anyway. I'm too afraid of them getting hurt.
Oh that's a lovely boy! Would you mind horribly if I saved that pic to use as a reference for myself later on? Maybe not for this breed, I dunno. But anyway, only if you wouldn't mind. I know some folks do, preferring to keep their dogs coats unique.
Not at all. You might be better off bookmarking this site though:

And yeah, I get the same thing about hotels and my 60-pound Lab mix when we try to travel. I'd love to own a Saluki one day, but my yard is neither fenced nor as large as they'd need to run. And I have a cat too.
thanks. And I bookmarked it :) Yea, someone told me soe time ago that there was a list to be found, of all the pet friendly hotels in the country. but I can't remember where/how to get it. We don;t travel much at all, so it wasn;t really a priority :S
And, because I didn't want to make a new thread for her...

Sarea has arrived in her new home as well! Thanks to Toxi for trading her to me :)
Sarea is absolutely stunning :O :O :O I'm UBER jealous about her!!!! -drools but makes sure it doesn't fall on her pretty coat-
The others are lovely too, I just fell head over heals for her XD
Updated first post with my new Bloodhound pair, both of whom are based on/inspired by real dogs that I met when I volunteered at my local Humane Society. :)
