Title: Microlutra
Post by: Laviee on January 14, 2014, 12:43:02 AM
Quote from: Unecessary StuffHi there! I think some of you possibly remember me, I ran the Imaginarium before. I really must apologize for disappearing off Secundi, it was a really hectic time for me, trying to get into college and all that. At one point I just couldn't anymore. I'm really sorry for leaving things, and if I owe you anything, please send me a PM (or an email at reignbhowz[at]gmail[dot]com, if i disappear again) and we can discuss what I can do to make up for it.

Now that I've actually gotten into my dream school and have settled down a bit, I would love to get back into Secundi. I really, really miss making adopts. Though, fair warning, I might disappear again... I've come to realize that there really isn't a 'less frantic' or 'more free' time in your life. Things just shift and what you spend time on changes. But yes, I REALLY, REALLY miss making adopts!

TDLR; Apologies for disappearing. I'm back, tentatively.

I have these babies that I made some time ago, they're called Microlutra or Lutes for short. They're tiny, which I know is unconventional for Secundi, but have some examples.

I had adopted them out at another site, so I made quite a few of them, so here the Database (http://laviee.byethost31.com/eots/MLlist.html) and Info Page (http://laviee.byethost31.com/eots/microlutra.html) if anyone is interested.

I just want to know if people like Lutes? So I can potentially adopt them out here too? I not then perhaps I can make some other adopt. I'm just really fond of these guys, haha.

They're quite appealing.  I would try to adopt an army of them.

I think they're adorable, and if you adopt them here, I'll hoard them like crazy!

I'd be interested. They're very cute!

Yeah, I initially created them with the idea of mass hoarding. They're easy to make which allows for me to mass produce and they're actually really fun to color!

Thanks for the feedback. (: If people like it, then I'll see if I can whip up a batch of them tomorrow.
I'll continue to use the same IDing system as I had before and just continue the numbers. I think I'll also keep using that site as my main way of documenting which Lutes belong to whom. Does that sound alright?

Thanks guys. (: I'm going to visit my old high school today, but when I come back I'll make a bunch.
Can some of you guys reply with whether you like natural/fantasy colors and natural/fantasy markings? Just so I kinda know what the ratio should be. (Just post something like Colors: Fantasy, Markings: Natural)
I'm also still kind of ???? about SG. I have no idea what the normal price range is for adopts. Could someone help me with that? How much should a premade be and a breeding that can result in 2 to 4 pups? I'm also all for just doing these 'for free' with premades and stuff and people can bribe me with other adopts cause I never ever end up even touching my SG ever. (I think I'm Secundi-ing wrong.)

What if we like all of the above? I think it would be kinda neat to have the fantasy a little less common, but I like both the fantasy and natural colors/markings.

I generally suck with pricing things. Um... Since they're small, I, personally, would only be looking to spend maybe 5k on a premade and maybe around 10-15k for a breeding. Of course, there are probably others who are willing to spend hundreds of thousands for stuff, but I do tend to run on the cheaper side.

They're adorable! For fantasy and natural, i like both and for these i think it would be nicest to have natural markings and colours most common but fantasy available too without being really really rare. Not sure on pricing right now, would have to have a think, but i would justrecommend looking at other small adoptables like FCFC and basing the pricing off that. SG isn't really that important here i think, adoptable to adoptable trades are much more valuable in my opinion.
I will definately hoard these guys!

These are so cute! I'm totally gonna hoard them. I like fantasy and natural colours, and I do like natural and fantasy markings, but I lean more towards natural markings.

I'd say

Colors: Fantasy
Marking: Natural-ish.

I made this for the 100th Lute, but since we're just getting started here I'm thinking I'll save it for the 150th or 200th. Just throwing this out there for people to see, haha. (:

I made six Lutes? And I have three others I made before that I haven't adopted out yet. I hope that's enough for now. /creeps over to make a thread

Kind of off topic but these are Bweeps and they were originally the first one's size, but I'm kind of digging the 200% one? The third one is 300%.
Idk, just throwing this out there as another adopt I can potentially make here since I already have all the templates ready.

I like the first, the second is not horrid, but the first is best
third does just look wrong

The first is really cute, the second okay, but the third I'd say no.  Too blurry.  Maybe try something between the first two?  Like maybe 150%?

Hi guys! Reviving this up again haha. I need some input! I'm thinking of making a new type of Lute for the 500th Lute! I know were only slightly past 250, but these milestones come up fast and I really want there to be at least two or three poses! I'm considering something feathered and winged? Or perhaps dragony with little claws? Any ideas? Or should I stick to the lines I already have?

Dragons-yes. Or Phoenix. Or something mythical? <33 Definitely would be interested in a winged one!

I'm going to be no help for a sec and say that there's probably nothing you could do wrong for me with these guys. That said, I think other kinds of fins might be interesting, and I think you could do some neat stuff if you go with the dragon route, too. Lol, even doing a sort of Stitch thing with three sets of legs, antenna, etc would be really cute too.

You could also add squirrel  tails. I would say butterfly wings but you have already done some customs with wings.

I like the phoenix idea, and the Stitch idea, too. Thanks, guys! I still a fae inspired one would be good, too, with butterfly wings would be cute!
