BackUp Pair - Help Me Decide! <3

I've decided that I would like to breed my bloodhounds next month, but since they currently have no puppy lineart I would like a back up pair just in case. Unfortunately, I just looked at my doggies and just cannot decide which pair of salukis I want to see pups from XD Any input at all would be very helpful!

Males-

I think they're both merles though o.o forgot to mention that >> I know Ocean is, but the girly was a gift so I'm not sure

Anyway, if he isn't a merle (I can't always tell, sorry!) then I'd love to see (and stalk, maybe even steal.. er I mean buy) a pup from them.

her name's Rust ^^ just trying to stay out of the way 'til the kennel's comfortable and settled before PMing

Rain? he's definately not a merle...unless merles can be gold....then I dunno. breeding's confusing sometimes

Rain is not a merle as far as I can tell.  Merles would have the darker patches interspersed with lighter, like Rust and male #1 do.

They all look lovely, but I think my two favorites are:

Male #2 x River
Rain x Dancer

You can have golden merles yes yes, I has one.  I wasn't sure she was.. didn't even suspect it actually, but I wanted to know what color to call her coat, and as she was traded to me fully grown I had to do some digging to find her puppy pic.  Which clearly lists her as a Gold Merle.  

So yes, I would find out.  But if he isn't a merle, then I would dearly love to see pups off the pair.  I can't imagine them coming out anything but pure stunning.

Edit: Yea, thats what I thought Spring, but I don't want to make a mistake and talk someone into breeding two merles mistakingly.  I'm just paranoid lol

Dancer + Golden Rain, because I love their colors
Rainstorm + from BKC, because brindle + merle usually gives really stunning pups
Ocean + River, because that pair was left xD and I would really like to see the outcome of merle and such a light coat combined ^^
