indigo, red is right, Gene Pool offered 4 starter fish in return for custom dogs to Garney as an adoptable trade. The other starter fish are indeed sold for USD to help the site, but this was a regular trade. I don't really mind, but I can understand other people who wanted to trade with Gene Pool for starter fish may be a little upset because she did say she wouldn't be trading.

You're right. I did. I'm sorry. I got caught up in the fun and did it without thinking. If I can't abide by my own rules, I can't expect others to. The entire reason I was making the rule was to keep myself in check, and I failed. I didn't intend to ever trade starters for other adoptables, so it wouldn't be unfair to people who didn't run an adoptable to trade.

Would another round of breeding, this time free, and all fish having thier counter reset, make up for it? What about a limited starter CYO? If that won't make up for it, tell me what will. I made a mistake and broke my own rule, breaking trust. I want to make this right.

Aawww, I think it was an honest mistake (though I had been wondering about it myself XD)
Perhaps you could give yourself starter fish and trade away the eggs like you'd been talking about earlier? (I'd find that fair myself XD besides, there's probably hardly anyone that wouldn't forget their own rules to own custom Kennel dogs amirite? X3)

I didn't know it was a rule... I just saw other people getting fish and I was upset that I couldn't 'pay myself' in order to get one...

It was my own fault. It was my rule, meant to keep myself from going crazy. However, there is a little once-in-a-lifetime CYO event open to make up for it. Half the slots are full already!
