As I am nearly done with preparing for my new adoptable, there are some things that I wanted to ask anyone who is interested in a new adopt. If there's something you want to ask or add, feel free. The poll will end in two weeks.

1. I am, but I tend to be a little squeamish/shy about doing forum based RP, so a lot of the times end up bowing out even though I really want to join in.

2. New lines, then items, then events

ETA: I voted that I would use genetics, but that really depends on how complicated/easy they are.  They can be interesting sometimes, but they can be confusing for me really easy, in which case I wouldn't bother with them unless it was required.

Sorry for not responding to this earlier! Thank you everyone for entering, even if you didn't post. As the large majority of you would use genetics, I'm looking to use them. However, I'm stuck on how I want to go about doing that. So, I've come up with a couple options that I might be able to make work.

-Traditional (Hh XY kka etc)
-Pictorial

If you have another idea, you may message me or post explaining your idea. If you're shy and don't want to post, then you may message me, but only the votes I receive will affect which type of genetics I use.

In no way would using genetics be required if I could help it. I understand that genetics can easily become complicated, so I will try to make them as easy to understand as possible, and will be available to help if something needs to be explained.

Traditional is easier for me. As long as they're explained well like the Stable ones i can usually pick up genetics fairly well.

Winged - the thing with traditional, is it usually limits you. To be honest I know more about dog genetics than horse, but I'm used to having lots of room for markings and colors that I don't think I'll be able to get with only a little amount of traditional genetic strings. However, with traditional I can implement things other than just markings and colors.

Hadn't thought about that I don't know nearly enough about genetics to try and make me own. I only know genetics from what we've studied in Higher Biology and from the Stable/Quinsta genetics. What are dog genetics like?

I assume that they are similar to horse when dealing with color. I haven't gotten into the Stable/Quinsta genetics too much, but the main thing is that there aren't multiple markings with multiple colors.
