Dear Diary

Today, one of the humans seemed to need a friend, so I decided to sit with him for a few minutes.  I sat next to him and purred for a few minutes, and just when he seemed to relax, and I was going to move on, he reached down, picked me up and hugged me!  And not just a quick, here's a hug, thanks and let me go on my way... nooooo, a long, tight squeeze of a hug, where I thought I would never be able to take a full breath again.  I tried to meow to show my discomfort, but all that came out was a squeak, much to my embarassment.  Finally, he let me go, and ran a hand down my back, in a vain attempt at smoothing my fur, though he did at least thank me for sitting with him.  Too bad he did not thank me with a portion of his supper; that fish looked mighty tasty...

Darn!  I missed posting Diary for the 23rd.  I was pulling entries from my Tavern story (sorry Sky!  I know you had asked if I wanted to post a blurb about them moving to my tavern, but it kind of grew to be a bit more then a blurb lol so posted it elsewhere instead of in thread.)  Anyway, continuing to pull form the story (and pretending it is yesterday, so I can post the entries in order, even though I know I will now be one entry short for this event.  Ah well, it's a fun event!  Quite liking how it coincides with my story

   Met a young Queen today while hunting.  I have a feeling she will be nothing but trouble.. which she is appropriately named.  But Oksana has taken an interest in her.  Looks like she will be accompanying us in our search for a new home.

Hello, 'tis I, Elle Driver, again!  It seems that the cook noticed my theft of fish yesterday.  I was locked out of the tavern for the majority of the day, which has made me feel very cross.  I must train harder to further improve my stealth.
