Colibri ~ flitting your way!

Colibri are small, agile birds recently brought to Secundi. They all have bright, colorful plumage, and can be seen flitting in and about the market. The shop is filled with thousands among thousands of flowers, perfuming the air with their pleasant aroma.

Welcome to Colibri! Some of you have seen us when we visited the Help booths, and now we're finally here! Rosewood and Wildfilly94 will be coloring some colibri as well, so if you look at the bottom of the cert, you can see who colored your Colibri!

Here I'm going to cover some of the basics, and the next post we'll have items.

Breeding:
A Colibri breeding season starts at the beginning of each other month, and lasts about 10 days, where the Colibri chose a mate and make a nest. The female then lays 1-2 eggs. An egg doesn't start to hatch until a week after it's laid, and it finishes hatching a little over two weeks after it's found.

A male may breed twice a season, females only once. As of now, you can keep one of your own eggs from a breeding season, and one from someone else's Colibri.

In order to breed, you must have a spider silk. This is so that the female has something to build her nest with.

Ownership/Transfer:
Since we're just starting out, transfers will not be allowed once certed. However, this is likely to change.

Normal Spider Silk - 500Sg
Spider Silk for your female Colibri to build her nest.

Fine Spider Silk - 1000Sg
Higher quality than regular silk, it ensures two eggs will be laid during breeding.

Red Columbine - 1000Sg
Ensures that all eggs will be female.
Stock: 3

Delphinium - 1000Sg
Ensures that all eggs will be male.
Stock: 3

Red Butterfly Bush - 500Sg
Gives one egg a random marking.
Stock: 1

Purple Butterfly Bush - 500Sg
Gives one egg a random color.
Stock: 1

Multi Colored Butterfly Bush - 1500Sg
Completely randomizes the egg.
Stock: 0

Silk Tree - 2000Sg
Allows you to claim one extra egg - either your own or a friend's.
Stock: 3

Sorry, yes. Her eye is purple. XD I was testing out the colors, and loved how the purple eye looked, although it looks darker when you're not zoomed in. I'm glad you like them, though.
