he did not like his bath

he actually does not mind his nails clipped as we have done that since he was little, but his first ever bath in 10 years, he was not happy

That was a lucky guess. I didn't think cats needed baths. But I can only imagine what you went through when you gave him one.

We think He has mites so he needed a bath with a mite shampoo.  Found out that the issue may not be mites but an allergic reaction to the food we bought him, so threw the rest out and went back to the old stuff, since three other women in my town were having skin issues with their cats on the same food we switched him to

Either way we came out with no scratches, just a very unhappy kitty.  he was happy with me again 4 hours later
