I'm going out to my friend's place again in a couple of hours - her mare is giving birth tonight (hopefully) *crosses fingers* and we've got this whole 'betting' going on what color ect. the foal will be, so I thought of you amazing geneticians xD
(don't worry, I already gave in my bet for the foal color, so no cheating)
Alright, the Daddy-to-be:

And Mommy:

Unfortunately, I don't have a better picture of the mom, but she's basicly all red with two white socks on her hindlegs.
Her former foals looks like this:

and

So guesses on the colors of the foal? ;D
With two former foals that are chesnut id say chesnut, with a very small chance at a bay. Id imagine maybe leg markings and face markings but theres no proof of them being genetically passed.
But daddy and mommy are both to die for!
Well, since the father is a bay, he has at least one E gene, and chestnut requires two e genes (ee) so you have at least a 50% chance of a bay foal.
Regardless, I'm sure it will be a gorgeous foal :) Do post pictures!
Hehe I'll try :D
It's my first birth and I'm really super excited (and a bit nervous) to see it.
My guess is on a chestnut filly with two hind socks and a blaze, but she'll probably throw a colt again xD
*giggles* The fact that The Stable adoptable has inspired its followers to be able to genetically code real horse births is so awesome! ^^
Well, if those are former foals of the mother and no info on the father, it could be bay or even black, but probly 50% it will be chestnut.
I know nothign still, but here is my guess
it will be small and look like a horse :)

Thanks to TheStable, I understand it more and could apply to real horses like these too! ^^ Beautiful horses, Spixy!

Hehehe xD
Well, it will certainly be solid; there's no chance of paint or appaloosa. It won't have a cream gene, and it can't be gray or white.
If those foals had the bay father, the father must be Ee, whereas mom is ee. In that case, 50% chance of black-based and 50% chance of red-based. That's all I've got XD
Spixy!!! Your Danish !!! :D
- But my guess will be Darkish Chestnut with socks ;)
Only problem is, she hasnt confirmed who the father of those other foals is, or shown any foal confirmed from this stallion- so he could be just about anything A/At/A+/a and E/e wise.
We must remember that both the stable and the ranch use some abriviating on thier genetics to keep things simple. Like all those different kinds of Lp complex things- ugh!
Only definite known possible coat color is Bay, so that's my guess. I'll throw in markings too for my guess. Bay with two hind socks and a blaze.
Wee :D She cheated us all during the night. Had an alarm on her, but no sweat or anything. Trickster!
It's a healthy little filly, chestnut like her mommy, with a blaze and two hindsocks. I'll post pictures later :D

She's absolutely adorable and a little charmer - loving to be scratched on her neck, lifting her lip and stretching her neck. Both mommy and foal are alright and have been out for a run - momma took the opportunity to roll xD
Hey, she april fooled you by not setting off her alarm! You should totally name the filly something to reflect that. Man, i wish my childbirth was relaxed enough I didnt break a sweat!
Cute little thing. Baby pangare is adorable.

Haha yeah she did xD She was born on April the 1st - Full moon - AND the first day of easter xD
I'll post some more pictures later, she's going out in the field for a few hours with her mommy today (unless the weather decides to change).
