Anyone a CSS wizard?

Part of my uni course is to do with CSS and html and well.. the tutor isnt very good. I have an assignment due in in about 2 weeks and Im struggling cos tbh, I havent really learnt anything in her lectures. (This point has been brought up with our module leader!)

Im have a vague idea of what I want but as im writing it its not doing what im inputting, making me think im putting it in the wrong order or somet. We are using Zengarden. Anyone with some good css background here who can give me a few pointers?

I know something about CSS and I can trrryyy to help! It might help if you posted your code/a link to your HTML CSS files and described what you're trying to do with CSS?
