Photography contest opinions?

My school is having it's yearly photography contest and since i really like photography (as a small hobby) i'd love to choose the best photo to enter! But i'm terrible at deciding. I've narrowed it down to 13 photos, all taken since the start of the summer. I would be very greatfull if you could let me know which one(s) you think are best, which you think aren't as good and give any opinions.

Some info on each:
1 Emperor Penguins taken at Edinburgh Zoo early in the summer. l
2 Bongo also taken at Edinburgh Zoo at the same time.
3 Zebra taken at the same time as the first two.
4 Skara Brae in Orkney, taken on my holiday at the end of June. l
5 Cliffs in Orkney taken at the same time. I love the colours and detail in this photo.
6 Taken at the same place as the last one. I love the energy the waves had at the time.
7 A valley from my gold Duke of Edinburgh hiking expedition in August.
8 A river on the same DofE expedition, the next day. lll
9 The Larig Ghru, taken on the last day of that expedition.
10 River and waterfalls down the side of the Larig Ghru, same time as the last one.
11 My Granny's dog Becky when they were staying with us last weekend. l
11 The same beach as the last one, the sun wasjust starting to set.
13 A gorgeous dawn at the beginning of October, taken out my window. l

ETA: I forgot to say, the photo will be printed out in fairly good quality but on normal paper so i worry a bit that the colours won't come out so nice. The one i entered last year looked much worse when it was printed out.
