I thought I'd say hi right away ^^ I noticed you had a slight bot problem after looking around, and didn't want anyone to think I was one ^^;; Bots I swear, what do they think they'll achieve anyway with spamming a forum? >>

Anyway, hello! I thought I would join because I'm interested in running my own adoptable, but I wanted to meet everyone first and get a feel for the forums before I jump the gun. I have a bit of my own experience with coloring and templating already, however, so hopefully sometime in the future I can begin. I have my eye on creating a human (well, as human as fantasy things can get XD) adoptable with clothing, mutations, and pets, but perhaps I'll start with a simpler animal adoptable first before I launch such an expansive project.

I love adoptables and vitual pet games in general, so I am also looking forwards to participating in the adoptables of others. :3 I had a look into your generals forum, and a lot of what I saw there was beautiful ^^

So, enough of my blabbering :3 How is everyone today?

You shall be pleased then, they most likely will be based on Japanese myth X3 I have my heart set on making a Yokai adoptable sometime soon. I'm completely in love with them and Japanese culture, so you will definitely see some Japanese influences enter my adoptables :3

*nods*  Make sure, of course, to read over the rules for that particular thread's games, but yup, just jump right in!   

I run Quinsta.  We have breeding seasons every other month, and new breeds and bribes for first gens on the off months.  September was a breeding season month and we're just wrapping up, but you can watch next month for the freebie events for the new breed.

Any events going on in General Booths you can jump into, just read the first posts to see if they cost any money or if there are slots open etcetera It's not hard to get your first pets, we're a friendly community and new people are often helped out getting their first few. One of my adoptables, !Blub!, even has a thread in Generals where non-owner may request one for free ^^

Another question I had was weather you guys strictly use USD payments or this sites currency to buy adoptables? I'm uncertain what the currency is worth here, I have 5,000 or so on my account when I made it. What could that buy, for example, and what can I do to earn more? :3

Pricing varies a lot, some adoptables cost a lot more than the 5K you have, others go very cheaply. Usually flatsale pets are between 5K and 20K though, but every adoptable tends to have a bunch of free events as well. More money can be earned by playing the games here: http://www.secundi.net/games.php and also by selling pets you have (or their offspring) and running your own adoptable. Adventuring (the tab next to games) can be a way of finding items that can earn you free pets or breedings. I know the Okibi Agency has a ton of fun items hidden in the Adventure feature for example!
