Almost 3 years late... but I finally did it!

Today I took my driver test for the first time. And I passed! On the first go! I can't believe it. I am 18 and a half, and most people got their license when they were 16. But... we had some problems.
Anyway, I'm just so thankful to finally have it. I am in control of my life now!

In Denmark you can first take a drivers licens when your 18. I'm 23 and i still don't have one And i like it, because i hate to drive and i wont be taxi for anyone !

Congrats Neo! I wish I had mine, but I never had the money to do so when I was younger...and now I'm rather afraid to even try because I seem to have an issue where I lock up and get scared, and don't know where my feet should go when I want to STOP x_x Its like I momentarily forget.

Now you'll just have to practice lots. I once took a break from driving for several years and getting going again sure was scary and I'm still not a very confident driver now.

And that's not really late, same age as i was when i took my test. You can't start driving till you're 17 here. I agree with Leet, practice loads. It's always said that you don't start learning how to drive till you pass your test, and i found that so true for me. My confidence improved loads in the few months after i started driving on my own.

Mega congrats! I've done the permit thing twice myself. And they expired. Twice. I haven't gotten a licence yet... But I don't think I'd make a good driver. I'm way too easily distracted. I'm 30. So 18 is a good enough age to get one I think.

I'm 36 years old, and still don;t have my license.  It hasn't even been a year since I got my learners permit, and I've only actually been using it to drive a few months.  I feel "relatively" confident enough now that I could pass the drivers exam to get my actual license, but I can;t afford insurance to do so, so sticking to the learners for now.

My parents would tease me. Even though I legally couldn't practice without them. But whatever. Got it now. No more teasing. Hopefully.
