Not everybody has time to chat.

1) Give people time to respond
2) Realize that we have other things to do. There are several players with kids, others with homework, and lots with one or more adoptable shops.
3) Realize that posting twice in a row, whether in the same day or in a week, is frowned upon.
4) Post what you want. Don't just put it in the subject line.
5) This is not Neopets or a chatroom. There have been up to 10 players on at one time and not ONE post made in thirty minutes.
6) Not everybody checks all the subforums. Just because you post doesn't mean people will necessarily see it.

The topic of this board is call "Casual chat with your friends. " so i made a board where people can chat lol! I'm not forcing anyone to come chat or to stop what they are doing to chat but if anyone is bored come here to chat. Lol i used Chat alot!

Clean the house! First i clean out then scrubed down the liter box for the cats next i have to clean the floor which the pissed on an took a crap on, which is covered in liter! After I have to clean the kitchen floor, last ly take a long shower!

Hey! A few tips to get more people to chat:
Maybe think of a tv show, or a website, or a another topic you like that other people will be able to relate to.
Maybe post about an event that recently happened. People might want to hear about it.
Ask for advice on nonsecundi topics that users may know about.

There is no actaul "rule" about double posting, but when you reply to your own posts over and over with nobody else replying first, it is terribly bad ettiquette. There arent even enough users or threads here that yours need to be bumped or they get lost in pages and pages of chat. There's just no reason for it.

Hmm, you know, one reason you may find this site having unspoken sort of rules that you are unfamiliar with is that many of us here are from PI. You may or may not have been, but secundi is run in a way that customs from PI are followed here. Like don't bump until off the first page is a PI rule. Etc. But we are nice people, and we understand if you're not or never have been a member of PI. It's ok, we welcome you

It's just, since you seem to be mostly from neopets, this is a very different site from neopets. Neopets has TONS of people with fast moving forums and lots of people posting all the time. Here, that's not really the case mostly.

I have Twitter, but only because I hooked it up to my Facebook so I can send updates from my cellphone. Now I can post status updates to Facebook while I'm on the road. XD

It's not the fact that you're posting, period; it's because you're constantly bumping your threads for no reason except to try to garner more attention.  Secundi isn't anything like Neopets; as others have stated there is a completely different flow here. 

Now you have other people replying to your chat thread, giving you advice and actually talking.  Feel free to reply to some of these other people and get some dialogue going.  Hopefully then more people will be inclined to participate in your threads.

i have Twitter, but i only really update it from my comp.  Generally i forget about it, though, so i update /very/ rarely. xD;

I saw a Sat. night live sketch about a teenager who found out his grandparents tweet. He was trying to talk to them and tell them they didn't have enough life left to waste it on tweeting, and they refused to talk to him in any way other than tweeting. It was very amusing.

Does anyone know how to post pictures on thier display page i found the place where type in a disccriptin but when i but this in:

You shouldn't use the quote button on your display page. Just the IMG tags with the url in between, just like you post a picture here.

I know i posted <img src=""> and with my url in it and it did not work on my display page but it works fine here!

ah, html vrs bbcode- one uses [] brackets, the other uses <> brackets, otherwise they are a lot alike. For example, img tags for bbcode doesnt have src.

I believe bbcode stands for bulletin board code.

where with bbcode, its much simpler.

I have bbcode in my display and it works fine. Quick side question just to make sure you dont run in to problems later, is it ok with the artist that you use thier image on your display? Just checkin

You need to use BBC code, like I explained the first time you asked. I showed you an example of img tags already, that's why I didn't explain it again in this thread. You can just go back to your other thread and look for the answer there.
