This is probably a silly question and shows how much Ryuu doesn't know about horses... but will you be able to see the baby's paint markings right at birth? Or do they come in later, like dalmation spots? :3

The dalmations thing is a real life thing.

Dalmation puppies are born pure white, their spots come in later.

I just wasn't sure if horse markings are anything like that. ^^

Some horse markings and colors really do come in later, sometimes a horse doesn't come into its full color until it's as much as 5 years old. Paint isn't one of those, though.

lol I know, Dalmatians are cute. What Silv says is true too, often foals will change colors after their adult shed, or continue shedding into a color. Like Lipizzaners, they're born black and turn grey

Lucy looks like a mini version of Cara, seriously, all her markings are there, but smaller. Could have called her mini cara. lol! Looking like she's a lively spirited thing, mistress Lucy is. Love that second picture where it looks like Cara is cleaning her head a bit, and Lucy has a look like aww mom!
