I glance at the blue-and-gray gryphion sitting next to me. "I will call you... Musa. And this is Taliesin," I say, nodding toward the dark brown gryphion. "I'm sure you two will get along just fine." Taliesin churrs in agreement, dipping his head slightly towards Musa.

My eyes grow to the size of baseballs as I see the shining white creature walking toward me. I was completely sure he was going to walk right by and approach one of the others who had gathered, but instead he stopped in front of me and called me beloved. In an instant I was in love.

"I'm Shaman," he rumbled, and I sighed happily and nodded, his name imprinted on my memory.

I heard a growl of annoyance from Sea Mist standing at my side and leaned against him, running my fingers through his mane so he would know I still loved him too.
