The other day i was checking mail when i noticed a envolpe with hand written writing on the front. It said "the wild ponies,sincerely forever grateful". Curious to what this letter could be about i opened itimmeadtly. Inside was a letter.



As i thought after reading the letter i rememberd the huge ranch nestled in the valley, barely visible from the road it was incased in the mountians that surronded it. Oddly i felt as it was my duty to at least go check on the ponies there to make sure of thier well being.

When i arrived i could see that the ponies were well cared for. Thier water buckets were clean and thier food trofts full. I was amazed at how beautiful the place was, however i doubted that someone would just hand the place over to someone they didnt know. I went to the door to tell the owner of the letter i had recieved and to see if they could help me at all with why it was put in my box. As i apporached the door i seen a piece of paper in wedged in. I pulled it from the seam and it read.

"Now that youve gotten here, please do go in the house. Below the floor mat you will find the key you need to get in"

Looking below the floor mat there was a key, i felt odd about going in but i wasnt sure what else to do. I unlocked the door and as i swung it open a burst of air hit my face..from that moment on i knew what the letter had said was true and ive been taking care of these lovely ponies ever since. Taming them so they could go to new homes in the whole of secundi.

Genetic Oddities

Your job is to breed two wild ponies, in hopes for an odd baby. Every pair bred has a foal, the person who bred them gets that foal. However you get a chance to guess at what the baby will look like. If you get all three of your guess's right you get other things along with your foal.

One Guess Correct: You have the ability to trade your foal with other foals in the thread.
Two Guess's Correct:You get to pick another breed to pair, thus you get two foals more chances of correct guess's & so on. & you get the ability to trade your foals.
Three Guess's Correct:You get an amazing breeding package to use with your normal wild ponies {extra breeding slot, golden apple.this is a very rare apple never sold in the store. 3 extra apples}. You get to pick 2 more pairs & you get to trade your foals.

This is all fun more less, i dont care if you guess on your genetic love or on just your own love for wild ponies.

You can guess just body colors and markings or exactly what the baby will look like genes and all.

You get to choose your pair, any colors markings..whatever suits your fancy!

Okay so heres some insite on what a good guess would be.

Your base color..has to be chesnut or black.
Your secondary genes such as dilute genes!
and patterns as your third..like tabinos paints.

Because im having the computer problems. (read page four) Im going to make this cyo a little more then i had planned. Though i think it will turn out well

We are now well over 100 horses isnt that awesome! Because of this a new "Breed" has unlocked..what is this breed you ask? Its the fantasy breed, better known as the Kalua breed. These ponies come from a forest set to the west side of the ranch, not much is known about them and we really dont understand how they got this way, most of them look just like the regular ponies aside from being just about any color of the rainbow. I think at some point the black & chestnut base that  normal horse would have mutated causing a true blue & true red base. Now i have seen some of these beauties also show mutations of other animals. Such as the wings of a bat or butterfly or the horns of a rhino again i dont know where or how this happened but i know it can.

So what am i saying here, yes finally there are fantasy (colored only still normal horse markings!) wild ponies. And this cyo you will be allowed to get one for yourself.

CYO Rules
This will be for the male lineart only to start, i know im bad but the female kalua ponies are hard to come by.

You may edit the lines so long as you can mimic the current lineart/shading style. Adding just about anything you want really so long as you dont go all out to completely change the lines.

You may only color one Kalua horse. You may keep or gift it but only ONE period. All others you color must be natural colors only!

Kalua horse markings are restricted to natural horse markings, just like youd find on normal wild ponies. The thing that makes them different is the fact that they are fantasy colored!

I code flea-bitten as BB being solid gray, Bb being solid gray, and bb being flea-bitten. I don't know how the ponies work exactly, though, since I oversimplified many of my genes XD

Basically you need to guess a base color..a marking or two..and such. If you guess black with blaze and socks and it ends up black socks and blaze then get all three of your guesses correct. Understand? XD

Rav has informed me that face/leg markings arent really passable but however i will allow this to be a kinda free of all true rules. This will be a basic genetics thing..

Sorry sweetie, a bay horse though considered a base is actually a base black with an agouti gene that restricts its black to its points. There for both parents having a black base was more likley to have a black foal.

Splitty you got a lovley smokey creme foal with a tovero paint pattern. So one guess correctly (though technically i think a grulla is a black base so if miss ravv can second that ill give you two guess's as this girl is a black base!)



ravv you got the base & the single creme right but shes an overo not a splash so two guesses correct for you.

Yes, Grulla is a black base. After all, Grulla IS black dun, in all technicality. Or black roan. Either one. x3

You acutally had two horses with creme or a dilute more less goofy splitty.

A smokey black is a black with one creme gene. A grulla is a black i belive with a dilute gene. Thus yours resulted in passing both dilute genes having a smokey creme.
