The venture into the forest is a peaceful one. As you're looking around, a bird trills repeatedly, and finally you go to investigate... and find a robin sitting on a branch just above a Mushroom!

Sure, Mushrooms are pretty likely to be on the ground... but what about in the trees? You're rewarded for looking up by finding one tucked into the crook of two branches!

For whatever reason, the foliage seems particularly thick where you enter the copse of trees, and making your way through is difficult. You don't manage to find anything today!

Into the woods you go! And you find yourself more or less surrounded by squirrels. A whole family of them! They are in the trees, on the ground, rustling through shrubs... and there are no signs of any Plamps. Bummer!

When you go out into the patch of woods, a glint catches your eye, and you pry a very old, gold coin out of the dirt. Neat! No Mushrooms, though.

Birds chatter all around you as you walk in the trees, seeking out your next Plamp friend. You spot a particularly plump little sparrow, and then your gaze travels to the shape next to it - a Mushroom!

You search diligently amongst pine trees. Every time you think you've found a Plamp, though, it's just a pinecone! Drat!

The sun is nice and warm, even under the trees. You see a lot of chipmunks playing and dashing about, but alas! No Plamps today.


Toffeeca (5/7)
You try your best to search, but find a lot of raspberry bushes instead of Plamps. The berries are nice and sweet, but the prickly vines made further searching hard!

Also, some info I'll edit into the Pollination post, in case anyone is wondering -
Each trait (so every separate color or pattern that a Plamp carries) has a 50/50 chance of passing (just a yes/no, no dominant/recessive genetics). All patterns that pass will attempt to show. If multiple colors pass on, it's random which one shows up (unless there's a pattern that will allow for both) or it might show up as a blend of the two depending on the Whims of Magic.
Not all Plamps carry a color or pattern, and some that carry them don't show them right away.
The 'starter' gray is also capable of darkening into Black.
