Wanted: RB's with any of the following Andalusian mares, for my dun and blanket appaloosa projects.  Also possibly for brown and sabino overo projects.  All mares will have the chance of producing pure, as they will all be bred with F3 grades :)

Winged's Name Me (black, snip)
Lyra
Winged's Name Me (chestnut)

Winged

I could offer an RB with one of my Andy mares, but unfortunately none of yours available help my projects. Which are you most interested in? My new chestnut girl i may well be using myself, and Lyra i'd want a bribe for but depending on who you most like, i could give you multiple breeds on the condition that if you get more than one pure andy with something passing i get first chance at one of the foals.

My Vye Zyita and Da Lepel?
Yours for the RB.

No fee :D

You don't want to use the bay ones also?

Dear Winged,

I'm most interested in your chestnut girl because one day I hope to have a red dun Andy :)  Breeds from both would also be lovely.  Furthermore, I would gladly give you second pick of pures for any given trait, though I obviously can't guarantee that there would be seconds to pick :/  The most likely chances are with dun and blanket/snowflake appy.  And even then, I suppose it's possible that snowflake/blanket genes already exist in Andalusians and just haven't shown yet...  So yeah, if you're still interested after considering all that, do let me know :)

Another option would be for you to look through my breeding thread at all of my other mares.  If there are one or two that particularly interest you--either for this season or next--you could then either reserve them for February... or maybe I'd be willing to do an RB trade for December with that mare just anyway :)

Dear Kahlira,

One day, I hope to have a herd of Andalusians, all unrelated to each other, in which every single trait is displayed!  So, since your bays are related to my dun grades, I won't be using them ^^;  (Actually, I just realized that Da Lepel is too... I made a whoops!)

Thanks for your generosity, and I would love to submit with Vye Zyita!  If you are interested in using Da Lepel or your bays with any of my F3 grades from your own account, do let me know and I would be happy to approve those breedings ;)

Thanks for the help, friends!

I have quite a few starters... and I really want to see more colors in the andies <3 so I'll let you use ALL of my girls, (tho some are as gray as gray can get) and the only thing I ask in return is if you get multiples of genes actually passing, if I can be on that list to choose one ^.~

actually... all my andy girls are first gen except for the one marked second gen... I only own girls, so I would really like any boy that might come out of them ♥

Kahlira

No problem on using Vye. Sorry Da is related though D: I didn't check myself.

But nah... I'll probably submit the three as breeders choice.

Winged

I'll allow the chestnut mare's RB and any of my other Andy mares who you would like to use apart from Lyra in return for second pick of any foals (I'd be interested in any with genes passing and possibly chestnut). That sound good to you?

I'm sorry, Kah, it was my tired brain's fault about Da  ::)

Winged, that sounds great to me.  I will breed your unnamed chestnut mare, your unnamed black mare, and Ayre this season.  You can have second pick of foals that pass...  I will certainly claim the first to pass dun and blanket/snowflake, but if there are any more of either I will offer them to you first.  Also, feel free to breed your other mares to my F3 grades yourself, if you wish!

CAN, I've always admired your Wild herd of Andalusians!!!  I've found five that meet the criteria of not being related to any of my projects: Belle de la Rosa, Fali'silva, Lailani, Shallal'llanis, and Shallalveth.  I would like to use those five, but since you were so kind to let me breed them, I also welcome you to personally submit with your other mares and my grades just to up your chances of your getting a pretty-colored stallion ^.^;;;  Also, you get pick of my own foals after Winged!

Just so you both know, these are the current odds:

For blanket appaloosa, assuming blanket genetics are not inherent in the Andalusian population (but they probably are inherent; they just haven't emerged yet), there is a 12.5% chance of any breeding with my blanket grade coming out with a pure blanket Andalusian stallion.  I have submitted eight breedings with him this season, so minimum probability says we should get one purebred blanket Andalusian stallion this season.  Factors that would up the percentage would be: if I can submit more breedings (obviously), and if blanket appaloosa already exists in the Andalusian gene pool (which is probable).

For dun, I have submitted eight breedings and the probability is 25% of getting a purebred dun from any one of them.  That means I will probably get two dun Andalusian foals this season unless I submit even more breedings.

For brown and sabino overo, I doubt that I will get any good foals this season but if I do they will come from a grey splash overo F3 grade whose mother was brown.  We don't know if he carries brown or not (that's a 50% chance in itself), and we don't know if the Andalusian population even carries the genes for him to throw sabino overo yet.  So this is a total craps shoot!

The grades in question:
Ghost (on loan to me from BKC)
Sting
Falling Slowly

Winged

That sounds good! I'll see if i can get any more Andy mares to breed to Sting, for more chance of dun!

I have three mares that I am not using this season that you can use, Briella wont work for the appy project, since she is already in there, but is she works for one of your other projects you are free to use her as well as Sarafina and Isabella for any projects that they work for, I would only ask for second choice of any successful projects they are a part of and if they don't throw any good babies then if there are any successes after whoever else has their pick I would love to have a chance XD

skysnolimit

Hi Toffee!  The way that I agreed to Winged's and CAN's stated terms, I'm not sure that I could offer you second choice of foals even from your own mares if I breed them!  I could offer something similar to you in this way, though:

I use Isabella in my (formerly your ;)) Appy project, submitted from my account; you are welcome to breed Sarafina and Briella to any of my grades that you want to use, though you would do it from your own account.  Then, you could keep their foals hands-down if you chose to; but Isabella's foal passes down the line of: me, Winged, CAN, then you, when it comes to who gets to claim him/her.

How does that sound to you?  I am most interested in Isabella, of the three :)

That works fine for me, you can use Isabella. Do you think I would be able to use Sarafina, Briella, as well as my Orabella in breedings to your studs? I don't have any good pairings for Orabella, so getting another chance at new genes to the breed seems like it would be the best way to go. :)

Go for it!  You're free to use Sarafina, Briella, and Orabella with any of my grades.  Just submitted with Isabella; thank you!
