Title: Problem with avatars
Post by: YourLoveOnly on January 07, 2013, 12:16:06 PM
Is there a way to prevent the site from auto resizing my avatars to max. dimensions? I use my avatars on multiple sites and two of them only allow my avatars to be 80 x 80 pixels. So the person who created all my pretty avatars made them 80 x 80 pixels. When I use these on secundi the site stretches them to 100 x 100 pixels which results in a considerable loss of quality, the pics become a bit blurry/fuzzy. I just want my avatar to be 80 x 80, is that really not possible? On most forums I frequent you can select if the site should resize your avatar or not, but I don't see this option in the secundi options.

I changed a setting, I think that fixed it.

Nope, they still show as 100 x 100 :(
I use the exact same avatar url on another forum that has a limit of 120 x 120 but it does not resize the avatar unless I select an option telling it to do so. Secundi seems to auto resize it to max. dimension if it's not 100 x 100 already.

Not sure if it's fixed now, but shows as 80x80 for me :) Not sure why it would show as a different size on different computers though.

Really? That is weird.. It still shows as 100 x 100 for me. I just checked, PM says it shows as 80 x 80 for her now too. I have no idea why my computer isn't showing the changes.. Since I did not change any of the images, they have always been 80 x 80 and I added new ones too to the rotating folder (which I see showing up, but also at 100 x 100)

Supposedly the size is now being checked via javascript instead of HTML, so perhaps something with your javascript settings.

Do a hard refresh, Shift+F5, it changed properly for me when I did that :3

Shift + F5 does nothing on my keyboard, it seems to be Ctrl + F5 on mine. Sadly no change. Oh well, as long as other people see it.. I assume it will change for me eventually.
