It's about 12:30 am here on the Pacific Time Zone, fireworks are about done.  We have about an inch of snow and still falling in Spokane, Washington, USA.

my poor kitty does NOT think its a happy new year. I opened the door to let one cat in, and the other started to tenatively walk outside. Just as his feet crossed the threashold to be outside, the first firework of the night went off with a BOOM!

Poor baby RAN back in the house and needed some serious cuddling.
