Title: Delivery Errors
Post by: Garney on July 01, 2010, 03:51:14 PM
QuoteHi. This is the qmail-send program at gateway01.websitewelcome.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<featheredfeet@ymail.com>:
67.195.168.230 failed after I sent the message.
Remote host said: 554 delivery error: dd This user doesn't have a ymail.com account (featheredfeet@ymail.com)
  • - mta1028.mail.ac4.yahoo.com

--- Below this line is a copy of the message.
This happens when someone's email won't accept the PM notification emails. Garney gets spammed with these notices.

- Make your email addresses are valid
- Make sure you don't have secundi emails blocked
- All else fails, turn off PM notices
> Go to Profile > Personal Message Options > Dropdown box at the bottom

Whoah. Thats sounds like the email I used to sign up the Gryphions account. I'm sorry Garney!
I had no idea pm notices were on. I'll fix it! So sorry.

You aren't the only one, that was just the first example I grabbed.

Well, a major thanks for grabbing that one >.< I wouldn't have realized this account might be attempting to send emails to an email I rarely use.
Thanks for posting this. I'm sorry for the spams. *pets Garney's inbox*

not sure if mine was a problem or not, but I hardly ever check my email anyway, so I turned it off on both my accounts.

I get anywhere from a dozen to two dozen a day lately, so I figured it was time to give people a heads up.

Maybe we can switch the errors to another email besides my personal one. *scritches head about it*
