I thought I would just post a few little pics of my birthday pressie:

No... Sadly not the horse... (though I would love to take him home!)

My friends bought me a 'beach ride' with 'Cumbrian Heavy Horses' - a trekking centre which specialises in clydes shires and ardennes! I got to ride 'Lugsy Malone' - so named for his floppy 'lugs' (ears)

He was insanely bouncy but I loved every minute of it! And OMG can those big ponies move!!

Wow, that's an amazing present! I've always wanted to ride a clyde some time, but sadly there's not many places here that have heavy horses.

ahh it was amazing!! I loved it so much! winged- where are you? Its the same here really- not many places have them, expecially not trekking centres- but this is a specialist heavy horse one.

LOL Ponymama- he was!! 17.3!! and im only 5'2 so that doesnt help haha

Know of any over here? Or i might come near to that place on holiday some time. No idea about that though.

My dad lives in scotland and we're both into riding big stocky horses. We haven't been in a while but I'll ask him if he knows of any good ones ^u^

Also zarz, he's wonderful, such a lovely coat!
In my opinion there's nothing better than the loping thud of a chunky horse :'D

Hehe I knew you were in scotland just wasn;t sure which part! if your near the boarder I wouldn;t have thought Cumbria was toooo horribly far away... but my geography skills leaves a lot to be desired!
