Title: Looking for Artist to re-shade the Lyvannaque!!
Post by: Lyvannaque~ on August 17, 2014, 02:27:13 PM
There's three stages, the adults each have nine mutations and the baby has eight but most are small enough they don't need much done.

The person who shaded them originally (Wolfie) merged the Highlights to the Shading so that I can't play with the shading coloration at all. I want someone to do a similar style but just have the two different layer. Let me know how much you'd charge to do this~

If you want the same highlight and shading, then it should be possible to not actually have to reshade. What I'd do, is duplicate the layer first, so you have shadinglyr1 and shadinglyr2. Take one, say lyr1 and find the option to turn the white into opacity (On GIMP it's Layer > Transparency > Color to Alpha). Then, you want to take lyr2 and either do the same thing except with black, or invert the colors and repeat the same steps. I don't know how to do it on Photoshop and with SAI it'd be near impossible, but if you don't have gimp you can download it, do the steps and then boot it off your comp.

Yup - shouldn't matter the program as long as it has the capability to do those two things. I imagine any 2-D art program worth their salt can do the convert to apha thing to some extent. SAI only converts white and puts things in greyscale, but at least that's something. It's extremely handy considering one of SAI's other quirks. And you're welcome! Hope it works for you.
